West Virginia shows might beat Wall, Wildcats 73-66

To most National Basketball Association scouts Kentucky Wildcats superstar guard John Wall is the top college player today and has the skills to bring his team to the NCAA Final Four and even to the college basketball crown.

The scouts are correct, Wall is a phenomenal player but they were did wrong when they predicted that he can successfully carry his team to the promise land in NCAA basketball.

The West Virginia Mountaineers minus their top player proved to the world that Wall is human beating the top seeded Wildcats 73-66 in their game and booked themselves a slot to the NCAA Final Four tournament.

Joe Mazzulla carried the fight for the Mountaineers as he scored 17 points in his team's shocking and morale boosting vitory against the favored Wildcats lead by its phenomenal freshman Wall.

The victory is very sweet for the Mountaineers since it came despite the absence of its top player Darryl Bryant who got injured recently.

Their win is also memorable since it allowed the team to return to the Final Four after many years of absence and bring back the excitement to the school when NBA legend Jerry West was the star of the team 51 years back.

Mountaineers coach Bob Huggins is very happy with their feat and vowed to do his best to bring his team the NCAA college basketball crown this year.

To successfully topple the Wildcats, the Mountaineers used tough defense and tremendous shooting from the outside.

On the side of the Wilcats, a sea of sadness has engulfed the school who is heavily favored to dispose the second seeded Mountaineers with Wall being part of its roster.

During the game, Wall scored 19 points to lead his team to a losing cause.

Wildcats top big man and NBA prospect Damarcus Cousins also added 15 points for the team.

With their loss, the Wildcats now have nine defeats as a No. 1 seed, tying North Carolina for the most since seeding began in 1979.

Wall is very disappointed with their loss and revealed that he will seriously contemplate if he will enter the NBA draft in June.
