I wonder where Nachbar is planning to continue his career... These two years in Efes coaches did a big mistake playing him on power forward position... Not many guys can guard him if you play him on small forward.

Not for the first time. They say he's holding some offers above the 1m while Maccabi offers him 500k. Also he's thinking about a move to the NBA which is his main target.
Another story of Maccabi can't keep a player because of money if you ask me.

I wish it was that easy.. I'm not sure Maccabi can match the offers he's getting now, who knew there's gonna be a bad side to his great performences <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

If I was him I wouldn't leave Maccabi so early... usually Americans who have a great first season in Euroleague and get transferred to another rich powerhouse can't keep their performance on the same level... just look what happened to Pargo's brother after he left Dynamo for Olympiacos...

Sometimes money is blinding especially for a 23 yo guy that feels unstoppable, first season in Europe he won the Israeli championship with Galil, this season he led Maccabi to the FF. I do agree with you but you also got guys like Bo McCallebb that did it quite good.

McCalebb played for Banvit, Partizan and Siena... he still hasn't played for a rich powerhouse with spoiled fans who would curse him at the first loss or bad game...

True. I'm not saying that McCalebb and Pargo are not good players, but that they won't be as good in bigger and richer clubs with pressure...
McIntyre was king at Siena and now Unicaja fans are cursing at him...

Pargo, anyone?
New rumor in WALLA says the guard wants 1.2m USD net for a season while Maccabi won't go over 750K.
http://sports.walla.co.il/?w=/151/1813988
If it's true I think the boy just lost his mind.. They say he has offers from Greece Spain and Russia, so I say-good luck out there and thank's for a great season (that didn't end yet) just for one season nobody's worth 1.2m after getting just 250k.
