2010/11 season signings and rumours
Eze goes to Besiktas?

Šaras decision sucks, IMO. When Sabas returned to Europe he could play for any top club and to be the best player of that team, but decided to play for Žalgiris and made his name even more respectable. Now Šaras is running across like nuts without respect to his first club. I wish him luck in Fener, but I don't think he made a good decision.

Jasaitis is a very strong player and having in mind Jomantas is completely lost this season, it was a good choice. The problem with Rytas is that now they have no point guard again.

It's sad Žalgiris is losing Begič. Begič good performances made Žalgiris a top quality club this season (that only shows how important to have a strong center) and I doubt Majramovic can be a good substitution.

Marjanovic is at least 50% weaker than Begič. This season was Marjanovic pushed to CSKA by Vujosevic and thats all. When Vujosevic was coach of Partizan, big mans always had a big role in his team, but Marjanovic is simply not good enough.
Mirza Begic could have reached an agreement with Real Madrid( http://www.krepsinis.net/news.php?news_id=161743 )

Mirza is a good player but Real already has two good centers( Tomic and Fischer). Maybe Messina is anticipating on an possible departure of Tomic next season. But it could also be that Messina isn't happy with the players that he has and he finds that he needs a couple of new players

Messina take whoever he wants and he chosen Tomic last season, Fischer for the new season and now he is not happy with them? Maybe is something wrong with Messina, and not with players... I know that coach need time to build a team, but this is to much... What is he going to do with Begic now? I hope that not the same as he do with Velickovic...
A Lithuanian site says Panathinaikos want Begic.

A Greek newspaper says Panathinaikos is ready to buy-out Ilievski from Olimpija.

Both rumours are probably bullshit... especially the Ilievski one...
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Maybe Panathinaikos wants Begic to strengthen their frontcourt because Maric is out. But you're maybe right, I don't think that PAO will take Begic. Maric will be back soon and he's better player as Begic, he's more polished than Begic.

the rumor about Ilievski is certainly bullshit, PAO's guards are way much better than him. Ilievski isn't a bad player but he can't the league you need to play for PAO
I was told that Olimpija will stay "as is". No one goes and no one comes. Including Pinkney.

Begic is practicing with Olimpija for practical reasons only. He will end to one of Real Madrid/Maccabi TA/Caja Laboral.

Begic would give Real Madrid reliable option from the bench. He can rotate even more and make sure that his players are fresh and it's also good when one bigman is foul trouble.

With Maccabi Begic would be complimenting Schortsianitis and Macvan. This would give them a great frontcourt with three great bigman. He would be good for Maccabi but maybe he wants to start. And that's maybe not possible at Maccabi.

At Real Madrid there also a chance that he doesn't start but maybe he will because Messina rotates with his bigmen.

Caja Laboral would be a good fit for Begic. He could start next to Barac and Teletovic. These three could be very good. But I think that the top opportunity of Caja Laboral is Estaban Batista of Fuenlabrada. Caja Laboral will have made an offer to Begic because Fuenlabrada is asking to much to buy out the contract of Batista. Maybe they will get both Begic and Batista but maybe if the deal with Begic doesn't work out, they will do everything to get Batista. But it could also be the other way around
Judging from Top16 draw PAO will most definitely move for 1 or 2 players...

Are you hearing some names of players that PAO maybe want to get to strenghten their team even more?
As reported Serbia media.Partizan is close to sign Milos Vujanic. To help in TOP 16.
[Image: 26637_navijanjeee409_blic_markodjurica_f.jpg]
Milos Vujanic is a good player who could help Partizan a lot. He can come from the bench and give Jerrells some time to take a breath.

It would give them two good pointguards. it would be a good move for Partizan
According to ESPN: Efes Pilsen has offerted Filip Murray a contract

http://espn.go.com/blog/TrueHoop/post/_/...ague-offer

He's a decent player who can score but I don't know if he's a right fit for Efes Pilsen. He needs to adjust to the level of competition in Europe. Many American players underestimate the level and that's not right. If he adjusts to the playing style of Efes and he is will to come of the bench and do everything the coach asks him to do, than maybe will do fine. But if he wants to be the star, it won't work.

What do you guys think?
Any more news about Mirza Begic?

Or any other news about transfers?
According to one.co.il Richard Hendrix will go on loan to Fuenlabrada (did I spell it ok? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />)

they say the deal will be closed in the next 24 hours. (I dunno how reliable this is.. With the Israeli sports media you can neve know)
This would be a great move for Richard Hendrix. He could get lots of playing time and Fuenlabrada gets a good player.

He already knows the competition because he has played for Granada

This would be great because Hendrix can keep on developing so he can get better and return as a better player to Maccabi
I sure hope it will happen cuz Hendrix needs this playing time.

I think his major problem in maccabi was that he played as Center most of the time while he obviously is a Power Forward, especially in the euroleague where u got players like Barac and Begic that are 15-20 CM taller than him..
I have watched Hendrix many times when he played in college. He was a very good player( and he still is). He was drafted but he was undersized to play in the NBA. He definitely is a Power Forward and Maccabi should use him like one. But I understand Blatt. If he sends Hendrix on loan he will have made a good decision because Hendrix will become better.

MaccabiTA have you heard any more news about Maccabi and Begic
Nothing here in Israel about MTA and begic.
