2010/11 season signings and rumours
Olimpija interested in Vladimir Boisa
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

They will make a deal with Boisa, but he will not start playing before december-january, because of injury.
How long this story with Šaras will continue? Seems like Obradovič doesn't want him anymore. Maccabi s loaded, Žalgiris and Rytas left I guess. Or maybe he would join Aris? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

Aris has a crowded back court so I don't think they need him. Panellinios would be more likely probably.

He desperately wants to stay in Greece. As for other options, I think he simply would choose the team who could offer best. I guess it's Maccabi or Žalgiris.
The only team that can is based in Athens and can afford Saras is Panionios.

PAO and Olympiacos want Linos Chrysikopoulos of Aris.

Because the played is under 18 his rights belong to Aris Athletic Club (amateur status) and and not Aris BC (professional status).

As long as he is udner 18 Aris AC can refuse to give him to any other club and can not accept offers for him which include money. But when he becomes 18 (December 2nd) he is automatically eligible to sign a professional contract with any BC he would like, without compensation to Aris AC.

So both PAO and Aris started the bidding in a different way. PAO already sent Verginis to Aris on a free transfer with paid contract for the season while Olympiacos considers sending Halperin on loan with 80% of contract paid.

Well if PAOK loses Delininkaitis, I wouldn't mind getting Saras as a trade-off <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> \o/

Why does it have to be an Athens based club? Panionios does not even play in Eurocup. As far as I know, Saras has only said he wants to play in Greece. He never said anything about playing only in the city of Athens. So I still think the most likely Greek club, if it is not PAO, would be Panellinios.

They play in the Eurocup, they need more guards, and they can afford to pay the 150,000 - 200,000 salary that has become his new price range. Panionios does not have a good enough team for him and they don't even play in Eurocup. Aris has a crowded back court and now wants to add Halperin.

So the most likely Greek club other than PAO for Saras would have to be Panellinios. Their new arena in Lamia should be packed in almost every game also.
Maccabi sign David Blue.

j/k it's Bluthental he changed his name to Blue officially. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

Olimpija is not looking for PG. And I got good news for you...

Soon you will hear about 2 signings, one SG/SF and one PF/C

Are you sure they're not looking for a PG? Because Trevon Hughes is on a try-out (and I don't think they'll be signing him) and the only PG we have is Ilievski (and Span who is 17 yo, off course).

I hope you don't have Klemen Lorbek and Aloysius Anagonye in mind. Because we know for a long time that they'll be almost 100% signing with Olimpija, but we are eagerly expecting first 3 and 5...

The two who I have in mind are not Slovenians. About the PG, maybe it will be looked into after SG/SF and PF/C are signed. Soon.

The SG/SF has played in the best European Leagues and with good teams in Euroleague. Last season he scored double digits in an elite Eruopean league, so I think he still has juice left for Olimpija.

The big guy is kind of unknown to most of fans, but I hear he has potential, muscle and athleticism.

Did SG/SF play Euroleague or Eurocup last season? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Big guy is from college or has he already played in Europe?
