According to Walla sport Milan Macvan is on his way to Maccabi.
Maccabi will pay his team 400-450 k $ for him.
he will sign for 3 years with option for 1 more.
I'd love it if some of the serbians over here can tell me a bit about him, and what they think about him, what's their impression on this player.

He's a very good player but he's overweight. He's kind of like a bull in a china shop. Honestly he's better than the big men players Maccabi has had in recent years.

Brad Newley might join Rytas next season. Žalgiris is trying to get Lithuanian prospect D. Gailius (Šiauliai).

Newley is a very good signing. Very athletic and smart player.

Vassilis Spanoulis is ready to leave Panathinaikos if they don't give him the offer he wants and the money he wants.
http://galobasket.wordpress.com/
Vassilis Spanoulis is now ready to leave Greece to play abroad (he is targeting Spain and NBA) for the right team or the right offer. His agent has put this out.
With this, Real Madrid is willing to pay him 3 million euros per season if he will leave Greece and go to Spain.

According to Sport5.co.il Malaga's center Joel Freeland is another name that Maccabi is interested in...can anyone confirm that? from what I understand Maccabi will have to pay a buyout for him and that's not something that Maccabi likes doing.

He is excellent player. Very useful on the court. Can jump, can shoot 3's, strong in offense... After all, he is playing for the Serbia NT <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

Neven Spahija is reportedly attracting interest of several top clubs. The favourites to sign him are Fenerbahce. CSKA Moscow and Panathinaikos are mentioned too. But it sounds more like a rumour generated by his agent.

I really don't see why CSKA would need to replace Pashutin.

Vassilis Spanoulis will continue his career in the NBA (he has several offers from NBA teams), unless Real Madrid can convince him to join them. His first choice is the NBA, his second choice is Real Madrid.
He is only interested in playing in the NBA or Spanish ACB League.
Real Madrid has offered him a 2+1 contract at 3 million euros net per season.

This is confirmed by Spanoulis' agent:

I watched Macvan last night in the Serbian League, it was satisfaction: Allmost triple double with 20 points, 15 reb and 8 ass.
I hope that all this news about him and MTA are true.

It would be a good signing. He can score in the low post and he is skilled.

Told y'a <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' /> He is a machine, and when he is on court, his team plays very strong...

Lietuvos Rytas signed Brad Newley for two seasons - http://www.talkbasket.net/news/brad-newl...-3055.html

I am quite pleased with this signing. Rytas has had luck with Aussies in the past. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' /> I had been hoping that the Bucks would pick up Newley to put next to Bogut but if he signs with my other favorite team, I cannot complain.
After coming off of winning the ULEB cup Rytas let most of the players that led them to success (Petravicius, Eidson, Lukauskis) walk and replaced them with cheaper players and half a season of Bojan Popovic. I would like to see a few more "big" names being signed by Rytas this off season if they truly want to make it out of Euroleague group play next year.

They need one experienced PG and they are almost complete team. The only question would be, will they let Baynes go and take someone in his place. Even if they wouldn't- lineup of Bjelica, ValanÄiÅ«nas, Baynes might be enough. Their goal actually is not top 16, they want quarterfinals <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />
BTW, seems I was right yesterday saying that Kurtinaitis will be gone- it's not official, but seems like Dražen AnzuloviÄ will be a new coach of Rytas.

Source? You guys should hope he'll play for Lith NT team because he really needs a lot of playing time to get back on some track and get ready for another season. I believe he still can play.

I can understand why he would want to leave PAO and why he would want to go back to Maccabi. But can't he make more money at another club rather than Maccabi?

Do you think he's lacking money? He's going to the club he knows, he knows the staff and he knows the coach.

Thats not true at all.
If its because Mr Balducci is in israel.so he only came to discuss the future of Gal Mekel.he has two offers from European clubs.
not talking about Saras at all.
