Quote:Battle over the terms about calendar for Adriatic league next season goes on, the number of participants is final, writes daily newspaper "Sport" referring to the Roman Lisac General Manager of Adriatic league.

General Manager of Adriatic said that there is room for agreement with the KSS(Basketball Federation of Serbia). "We will show good will and readiness for dialogue as we plan to finish among league of the 10 and 12 March 2011. We will try to find a compromise,to play more early rounds, whenever opportunity, "said General Manager for newspaper "Sport".

Basketball Federation of Serbia is requested that the regional competition have to be completed earlier in the calendar enough to terms for the 18 rounds of Serbia League, which would be in Serbian League 10 teams next season.

Serbian League start in early March is the 'minimum of minimum'. Certainly we will hold the session of the KSS(Basketball Federation of Serbia) when our league finish and maintain such in the Board of the Adriatic league, "said chairman of Sport KSS Kapičić ironically adding that" maybe in KSS agreed to push the competition for that week that Board od Adriatic does not respect the agreements. "

When it comes to the number of participants in the Adriatic league is no longer a story of how the representatives of the Serbian will be.

"You don't expect any sensational news, 14 participants and four league club from Serbia is 'nailed' decision," said General Manager of Adriatic League.

The Adriatic League will play four teams from Serbia, four from Croatia (Cibona, Zadar, Zadar and one team wildcard), two from Slovenia (Olimpija, Krka) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Siroki and wildcard), Buducnost Podgorica and Nymburk, Czech participation is paid 500,000 euros.

Although this season were the most successful (13.80) participants Adriatic League (Croatia has a coefficient of 15.00) centers in Serbia will have four seats, despite the fact that they won the last seven titles (4 Partizan, 2 FMP Zeleznik and Hemofarm 1).

IMO, this league will be great in 5 or so years. It's just takes some time to put everything on its own place. And in the future years, Serbia will renew its monster-of-basketball reputation, thus will gain back respect, and things like this will happen no more... IMO...

Sarajevo Bosnia will play next season in the Adriatic league and Igokea from Aleksandrovac loses the opportunity to play in the regional league.

Despite the fact that Igokea play play-off final a special invitation was sent to Bosnia, as stated in the explanation, based on the letter from the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Siroki won the basketball championship and second place for B&H representative went to Sarajevo.

Some days before the last game they said if the central refereeing committee doesn't change, they won't play next season.

They mentioned Adriatic and Cyprus are possible leagues to join if that happened.
