Clippers 2023-24 season
Quote:Clippers secure 3rd straight win, overcoming boos in victory against Spurs

Kawhi Leonard silenced boos to lead the Los Angeles Clippers (6-7) to their third consecutive win, defeating the San Antonio Spurs (3-12) 109-102 on Wednesday night.

Leonard, who played for the Spurs from 2011-18 before being traded, faced a vocal home crowd, prompting Coach Gregg Popovich to admonish the fans during the game.

Leonard showcased his skills with 26 points, accompanied by Paul George's 24, contributing to the Clippers' victory.

Despite the booing, Leonard remained composed, finishing 10 for 17 from the field with four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
James Harden, contributing 16 points, played a crucial role in the Clippers' win.

The victory marks the team's third consecutive triumph after a challenging start to the season, dropping their first five games with Harden in the lineup.

The Spurs, led by No. 1 overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama's impressive performance with 22 points and 14 rebounds, fought back after trailing by 17 points in the second quarter.

However, the Clippers responded with an 18-2 run, regaining control and sealing the victory.
