What if Yugoslavia had never been broken down to pieces? How would their National Team look now?

I will try to include the best players from former Yugoslavian Nations and then try to pick the best 12 to make a squad... (obviously I won't include retired players or players who regularly avoid NTs...)

IMHO, stupid thread. If right now there could be only Yugoslavia then would be different basketball schools, different teams. Say, do you think, you could have sucha teams like they are now? Everything would be different. It's like we say "If Jasikevičius will play in our NATIONAL TEAM and Macijauskas won't be retired, we will crush every other team". IMHO, there's no point for threads like this.

SF would be not convincing. I really looking forward to see what Bjelica will bring to the table in WC and Euroleague because he seemed to be hyped as Rubio or some other super talent lately, basically I'm not convinced yet he has that material (we'll see), but both Nachbar and Bjelica wouldn't be my pick for a team that should be a contender for the gold in WC. Other positions look sweat, though I would like to see some already proven top class PF after Lorbek.

Sasa Vujacic, Mirza Teletovic..

You can imagine how many times this has been topic on numerous forums I've been reading..

And conclusions were about the same - world domination <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Nice to know I'm not the only one coming with such "stupid threads" <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Vujacic? He isn't good enough to make it to Slovenia NT, would he make it to Yugoslavia NT?

Totally forgot about Teletovic... but then again plenty of PFs to choose from...
