Of course Serbai was going to have a party against Angola. The difference Serbia won with will be handy in the future giving a good advantage when the group standings are made after the first phase of all games are done with.

More importantly, I've been hearing stuff about Jordan. That was quite a narrow loss to Australia which was also lucky. Quite a refreshing game from what I read, were did Jordan finish in the FIAB Asia championship?

Also, Argentina just narrowly beating Germany wasn't impressive. If they can't keep the 10-12 point lead against quite a weak opponent, I wouldn't be expecting them to make it to the semis. Seems like without Ginobili, Argentina isn't powerful at all, coupled with the absence of Nocioni, Argentina seems like it is going to be struggling.

I agree, the US played exhibitions against teams that have given them a tough time lately: Greece and Spain, but they really should have tried to book Serbia prior to this tournament. They're a team that is primed to surprise the US, it would have been nice to gain some familiarity with Serbia before it counted!

Actually I'm pretty shocked at Germany. They narrowly lost to Argentina and now... beating Serbia? Either the Germans are paradoxically a good team, or we aren't the only ones with problems <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rofl3.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rofl3' />

Well Serbia losing to Germany (day 2) in double overtime is well embarrassing. So a lot of teams considered favourites are running into problems, all except the US of course.
