Better than nothing I guess...
Had Messina quit 1 day earlier we could have interesting developments...
Respect and thanks for everything:
Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Messina would be completely armless with current Greek NT. (Without N. Galis I mean <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />). You have to feel lucky.

Maybe Messina would have been the next headcoach if he resigned one day earlier but I don't think that it would have happend. Zouros is a good coach and if he selects the best players and create good chemistry everything will fall in place

I suppose we can pretty much expect Printezis not to be in the squad after such a miserable season...
Chance for youngsters and Pat Calathes to shine.

Too bad for Greece! He's in great shape lately and I think new coach would have some smartness to set up the game around him. Well, time's passing.

I heard too what Diamantidis said, I'm very sad because I was hoping that in this eurobasket we would had all of our best players and possibly we would win that trophy. I also wanted, Olympics of 2012 to be the last competition of this team. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

Maybe if they get 3D's wifey/girlfriend to have a go at him and get him to change his mind about playing on the NT, something might change <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/baby.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rofl3.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rofl3.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

Yeah, Greece win it, congrats! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> But Macedonia has the brightest star Darius Kibildis who nailed 46 points. I really liked what I saw in this guy.

No worries, best Macedonians play for Greece NT... like Zisis, Diamantidis, Mavrokefalidis, Vasilieiadis, Perperoglou, Tsartsaris etc...

Lithuanian School Championship was played in the same format as Eurobasket 2011 this year, and every school took the role of a Eurobasket team...
Greece won it by beating FYROM in the final!

How far did Israel go in this tournament? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

I don't know exactly, the page of MKL is pretty clumsy, but I think pretty far, as powerhouses like Spain, Russia, Lithuania and others couldn't reach 4finals <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

plus Sofo, Spanoulis <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />
That was a really funny tournament organized by the schools <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' /> Is there any English link describing the outcomes of the games?

Sofo is born in Africa and Spanoulis in Larisa, both not in Macedonia.

Well I meant it in a North of Greece context, which Macedonia is a major part of, obviously. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

OK, but not entire north part of Greece is included in Macedonia, especially Larisa which belongs to Thessaly. Therefore Spanoulis is a tyrogalo.
