How old were you, the first time you played basketball? How were you introduced to this wonderful game?

I must have been 11-12 when my family moved to Europe. It was at the school's court where the neighbourhood kids gathered to hang around after school.
Respect and thanks for everything:
Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Two friends came to my flat and said "let's go to learn to play BB" and I started to attend trainings, I was 7 yo. First time I tried to shoot the basket, probably 5 yo.

I played for my class team for the in-school championship in junior high. We won all titles undefeated all three seasons.
My role was to guard the opponent guards like a mad dog and not to ask for passes in offense. My highlight was getting called an unsportsmanlike when I threw the opponent who was on fast break out of bounds. Krstic would be proud to see me in that play. Respect and thanks for everything:

I was 6 when i was introduced to basketball. We lived in Harlem, NY. My father took me to P.S. 76 school park and lifted me up as I shot the ball. I remember the goal being a trash can that was cut in half and wired up. When I was a little older I played basketball with friends in school yards and public courts all across Harlem. Then eventually all across NYC touring with little league teams. I played point guard and 2.
