Croatian NT 2011
#1
What do you guys expect of the Croatian National Team?

They are a very talented team with very talented players, the youth teams are also very talented!

Do you see them go very far in a tournament and which players should play for Croatia next summer? Will there be a new coach? I hope Velimir Perasović will the next head coach, because he is a very great coach.

I hope Tomas,Bogdanovic,Popovic,Ukic,Planinic,Tomic,Delas,Zubcic,Radocevic,Prostan,Batur and other will play for Croatia next summer. I hope they can make a very deep run

They definitely have chances to do something good in Lithuania, mainly because the average level of the competition will drop considerably due to 24 teams.

They are a talent packed team, but that will result in lack of experience.

I have been disappointed in Delas' and Tomic' progress...

Ukic will be their undisputed leader...
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

The level of competition might be questionable in group stage (still only 3 teams advance from 6!), but the all top teams will be red hot.

Good point, Tomic struggling to justify his star prospect status and I'm starting to think he might end up being too soft and too inconsistent for becoming a top player. Popovic is great this season on the positive note and Bogdanovic progressing.

Basically they are always very dangerous and the team with probably the best offensive potential along with Spain and Lithuania in Europe. One of dark horses probably.

Croatia is one of the team that I love. They have a very talented team. If everything works out well and a couple of players develop everything will go well. They have great youth teams so the future is secured. They will be a dark horse for the title

Where did you post it? I guarantee you, no one in here deleted anything of yours... actually we don't delete anything around here, just the occasional spam.

And I'm against naturalsied players, especially Americans, at least by nations who have plenty of basketball talent and tradition, like Croatia.

Yws. PG Dontaye Draper from KK Cedevita. Evrything is aproved, he is just waithing for papers. He is good player, could help us in rotation, but from my opinion this makes national team loosing sense. We shouldn't folow bad sample of some other countries

If your post was deleted by someone, it was probably by mistake.

Trust me, this board is very pro-European...

So how many signatures this petition has got so far? How long is he playing in Croatia?

To be honest, I wouldn't mind to see Batiste in Greece NT, but he is in Greece for ages... but even then, the GBF doesn't want him.

draper came before this season. probably this is forced by KK Cedevita wich has tons of money because of foregions limits in our championship
