Euroleague Top16 draw
#21
I'm curious to see how Milan Macvan will play for Maccabi. He will have the chance to prove that he can compete with the best of Europe and that he can be one of the best forward in Europe

I am very satisfied with Partizan's group. Unfortunately that we have coach coward who was the first to say that our group is the toughest. If we get Milos Vujanic (some rumors), I believe that we even have chance to go Final 4 again. We will see. Good luck Black and Whites!!!

They got a chance to go to the Final 4 even without Milos Vujanic. I think that Coach Dule will be back next year and that Jovanovic will be his assistent. Jovanovic doesn't have to be a coward. he has to believe in his team and their chances. If they win their homegames and can win a couple of games on the road, everything is possible

Which team is going to be "the surprise team" in TOP 16? Is it going to be Olimpija? Or Partizan? Or maybe both? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> Who knows, right? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> Can Partizan repeat last season success? Or can Olimpija still be one of the biggest surprises in this years euroleague competition? We will found out soon as first euroleague game starts 19. Jan.

I'm just gonna comment these two teams cause i like teams that are "underdogs"... Basically there is only one question... And that question is which of this two teams will get one road winn? We all agree that nobody is gonna beat Olimpija or Partizan in their house? Right? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> HeHeHe... But for TOP 8 you gonna need at least 4-2 score... Partizan has a tough job... Siena, Real Madrid and Efes Pilsen... Hmmmmmm... Like i said thogh job... Meanwhile Olimpija has Maccabi, Barcelona and Roma... Roma... A team that Olimpija will get that road win... Yes, Sir! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> Unfortunally that means that either Maccabi or Barcelona will say goodbye from TOP 8... But hey... Remember... Don't Hate, congratulate! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rofl3.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rofl3' />

Panathinaikos has once made it past Top16 with 3-3 (started with 0-3) even finishing Top of the group.

I hope both Partizan and Olimpija make it through, but I will stick with my prediction, Zalgiris.
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Hi guys i'm a "new guy"!

Well in my opinion in group E Panathinaikos will easily pass(with score 5-1 if not 6-0).

In group F i think Barca will be much better than regulas season and will finish first. Maccabi i think will get the 2nd posostion but olimpia will be an extremely difficult opponent for both Barca and MTA.

In group G(the most competitive of groups)i think will be a war. From what i have seen in the regulas season, Siena will be first and Real second. Partizan and Efes i think are able to make a surprise and i think that they will be as Olimpia an opponent that will take away points from the "favorites".

Finally, in group H Olympiacos is the favorite(as a brand) but as we saw in regulas season is extremely bad out of SEF and i think that Olympiacos don't stand a chance at Turkey. Considering what we saw from Fener in the first round i think that points differencal will judge the first place. BUT, i think Valencia is able to take one of the first two positions. Generally for this group i think that there are three teams that will battle for the first two positions.

It are four very interessed groups and I think there can be a couple of upsets. Every team will have to fight for the win. Every Top 16 team wil look for inforcements so that will be better because the competition will do everything to win. We will see an exciting Top 16 and further.

I also think that we'll see many surprising moves of players.

pao got the easy group, but they'll be matched with either barca or maccabi probably in the playoffs, which is very bad
