Euroleague QF3: Barcelona - Panathinaikos
#41
Anyway, Bertomeu sent his money-time special operations man to Athens, non other than legendary Luigi Lamonica.

So Barca will get every chance possible to make it to their Final Four... I'm sure that our Maccabi friends in here can confirm my sayings...

Also 1/2 last Barca wins at OAKA was with Lamonica as ref...
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

A prime member in Jordi's Barca defense forces.

In Tel Aviv he, in some megical way made an innosent mistake every time Maccabi started to run over 10 points difference which could cost Barca the home adv.

I'd say good luck but grande Luigi leaves no room for luck.

As I said after Game 1. Never mind the bollocks. Play your game and you will win!

I can't describe how proud I am... even my foreign friends from a broad went the extra mile and travelled to Athens just to be inside the arena for this game... hope our team didn't let them down!!!

And hope we will conquer Barcelona again soon...
Respect and thanks for everything:

I think it would be most fitting after smashing Barcelona, to win the whole thing in Barcelona just to rub into their faces, stuck up , self-inflated Catalans <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

I'm so proud to be a Panahinaikos fan!!!

I'm green to the bone.

Just like tuesday I was in OAKA along with 24.999 green fans. It was AWESOME!! The greatest atmosphere I ever felt!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

PAO deserved it. PAO won in three straight games the Euroleague champions!! PAO is the king that forced Barcelona to see it's own f4 from their coach!!!!

Diamantidis for MVP!!!

Congratulations for the big (three) win(s)! I am very happy to see Barcelona out of competition, even though they have two of my favourite players, I am so sick of Barcelona's huge self-esteem. "Més que un club" (More than a club) my ass. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

One of your favourite players and your avatar will be missing his 3rd Final Four with Panathinaikos and possibly his third EL title... his career decision making is as bad as his final ingame moments decision making...

I was also disappointed when he moved to Barcelona, but I disagree with the last few words of your sentence. He brought Slovenia, Barcelona and his former clubs a couple of last second wins ...

I downloaded the whole match and watched it (I don't have NOVA <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' /> ) and I have to say Lamonica tried hard to mess things up for PAO <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

Real maturity was shown from Pat and Ian, I hope to see them performing as well for the NT this coming Eurobasket <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

All the other usual guys kept everything ticking over, with Diamond-idis being the #1 man as always. It was a pity to see Tepic performing so badly, he really doesn't seem like he can contribute much to the team.

rubio is one of the baddest playmakers in europe. he cant score the free throws and free point. there are a lot of similar players in europe and they are very cheaper than he.

I agree!

I was always saying, that he is one of the most overrated players ever in europe. And one of the biggest victims of this are the Memphis Grizzlies that wasted there 5th overall pick to draft Rubio.

Rubio is an, if not below average, is an average playmaker. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' />
