So far we have already said that "FYROM will lose easily", "FYROM will bbe smashed" etc.

We proved wrong... <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bag.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Bag' />

This time the only sure thing is that they will lose. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Although, I will not say that they are gonna be smashed, just because I don't know if Spain is going to play in full force.

If both teams give everything they got, Spain will get +20 win for sure... <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

two teams, two famous naturalizing stories <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> just one difference-Spain is MUCH better. I think it's the end for FYROM, but that's what I thought more than once before <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

TBH, despite the whole Bo story, I kinda support them in this game, Spain seems like WAY too much for them to handle but if they manage to do it, I think Bo deserves to become the FYROM president.

^ Too true!

I'm actually with FYROM for this game, just to spite the Spanish for their game/tournament rigging ways <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

I would go with FYROM for the players sake but the Spanish fans are more civilized and thus more deserving. Also, I'd rather have FYROM join us as one of the 12 teams fighting for 3 olympic spots next summer. I want Spain to have already earned their olympic trip to give the rest of us the best odds possible.

I don't know, even in this case I can't say I support FYROM.

I really don't care who wins, I only want none of them to win the trophy! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bag.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Bag' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Cool' />

I think though that Spain will have an easy night, it's up to them!

*I'm pretty sure that even after FYROM's huge upset against host Lithuania, Spaniards will underestimate them(is in their blood! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rofl3.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rofl3' /> ) but of cousre that's not gonna change anything! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

I really don't give a rolling donut who wins it. Spain are cocky as hell, and sooner or later, their reign will come to a hault. FYROM is cocky already, with their coach claiming, they are one of the best teams in Europe in the post-game interview. He must be stunned or something. Lady luck smiled on FYROM, way more than their basketball. A flash in the pan team, that won't ever repeat this result.

As for good old Bo McCalebb, yep he's a genuine FYROMIAN, he definitely has the Fyro-Mac distinctive look.. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rofl3.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rofl3' />

I think you're a bit rough against them, they defeated you and the hosts besides they played hell of a game against russia. I think they will play with their best. The thing is if Antic can play with a self esteem and decides to challenge the Gasols (I'm trying to say if he can believe this in his mind), they can play big time.

I used to like spain now I don't like them very much , not because they are so arrogant but because they did much and I feel like it is enough. However I hate Pau from the first momemnt I saw him.

I expect Spain to get it together and pull away in the second half but credit to the Macedonians for once again outperforming a superior opponent.

Bo McCalebb just scored an A++ on his NBA interview. I'd put him at the helm of the Lakers. That be a good fit for him.

It was about time for FYROM to be kicked out. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/baby.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Baby' />

FYROM just proved for one more time that McCalebb(25 points) is everything for them!

Without him, they would struggle to reach the top-12.

Hats off to Navarro!!!

What a scoring machine! He had 35 point(!!!) and he scored 19 0f them in the 3rd quarter!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Pau Gasol was awesome too with one more double-double(22pts-17reb!!!)!

I hope they'll not be that good in the final!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Crazy' />

Excellent game by both teams <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Cool' /> FYROM played very good, they deserve bronze.

Navarro played great 35 points... <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> Also for the most complete center and even above are Pero Antic!! He can shot from 8 meters <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' /> If Serbia have that kind of player it would be incredibly.

Good lucky for both teams <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Navarro is amazing! If Navarro was less spectacular Spain may have lost. I enjoy watching Spain. I hope France joins them in the final. Bo McCalebb for tourney MVP. He was amazing from beginning to end. I wonder if Teo or Navarro playing on FYROM in replace of Bo could do as well......

Anyways congrats Spain! I'm very happy for them! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Remember USA is waiting for you. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Cool' />

At some point in this Eurobasket discussion somebody made the point that when Spain will get a reality check when Pau and Navarro leave the team. Tonight definitely supported that theory.

I see Spain going from a great to a good team when those two leave. Whereas a team like Argentina which has been just as good if not better than Spain over the past decade is on the verge of going from great to very questionable when their super generation moves on. I see the Spanish youth movement. I have no idea what Argentina is planning for the future.

In any event, Bo is definitely the tournament MVP, it was a highly entertainly game won by Senor Navarro in the third quarter.

It will be a disgrace for Eurobasket as a tournament if Bo become the MVP. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thudown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thudown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thudown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Why is it that its so hard to know about Bball development in our southern neighboring countries? I can tell you all about Ex-yugo, spain, Lietuva etc. youth. I know little about Argentina. I know more about Brazil. A bit more about PR and DR. That's about it...

You know about Puerto Rico's development? I am very familiar with their senior team but know nothing about their youth. Who do they have coming up the ranks? I'd imagine that they have a decent representation in the NCAA but I'm not familiar with their young players.

The Dominican Republic will always just steal Americans. I have no faith in their program. One day we'll just find out that some American kid in the NBA has a Dominican parent and that will be that.
