Sundiata Gaines was offerted to Virtus Bologna. Bologna is searching for a replacement for Marcelus Kemp.

They have interest in bringing Morris Finley of Siena in. They also have interest in David Logan but Caja Laboral doesn't want to let him go and he is way to expensive for Bologna. Finley would be a more logical option.



In the meanwhile AJ Milano is very interessed in bringing an old-player of Siena in: Benjamin Eze

It's better to play Bologna in Euroleague than Armani.

Bologna has a bigger stadium than Armani and they have a good fan base.

It would be great to see them back at the big stage. It would give them more money to get better players so that they can improve their roster even more.



I wouldn't mind seeing Cantu or Benneton in the Euroleague. Both teams are young team with a couple of experienced players. It would be good for their financials to play at the bog stage but the only problem is that both team don't have big stadium. Cantu: Palasport Pianella (4.217)

Benettonalaverde (5.000). But maybe with extra they could expand their stadium.



Siena will be in the Euroleague next year but it will be a very interesting race for the european places

Like I already mentioned: Benjamin Eze could move to AJ Milano. This could be a very good move for Milano. Eze is great defensively and he's also good on offense. he's really a beast. He's a very good center. He could help Milano very well

Benjamin Eze expressed his desire to return to his second home country Italy. AJ Milano is very interessed in bringing him back to Italy. He could help Milano a lot. AJ Milano and Khimki( the current team of Benjamin Eze) are negotiating but the agreement is not been made so for.



Panathinaikos is also very interessed in Benjamin Eze

PAO is one of the best teams in Europe and he could win the Euroleague with them. But maybe Eze will chose Armani because he wants to go "home", to Italy

Virtus Bologna is very interessed in bringing KC Rivers of Roanne to Italy to replace Marcelus Kemp. The club is already talking with the player.It was confirmed by Virtus Bologna GM Massimo Faraoni



"We are working to bring him back to Italy. He has a contract with Roanne. His agent is working to part ways. We are waiting but we have a couple of alternatives if the deal won't be finalized. We are targeting him since he was in Latina for the first part of the last season" said Faraoni.



It would be a great deal for Bologna. Rivers was a very good guard in college and he's still a very good player who could help Bologna a lot. He's a good scorer. He and Winston could be a great duo and they have a good point guard in Kopenen. With these three they have a very good backcourt.



They already have a good team and Rivers would improve their team even more. he could be a missing link in the race for european basketball

Virtus Roma and coach Boniciolli part ways



The coach leaves after one year.Virtus Roma and coach Matteo Boniciolli officially parted ways. The coach arrived at the helm of the Italian team in the middle of the last season replacing Nando Gentile. In the summer Boniciolli signed a two year contract with Lottomatica.



One of the top candidates was Sergio Scariolo but I'm hearing that they will appoint Saso Filipovski as their new headcoach for the rest of the season. Saso Filipovski was an assistent of Dusko Vujosevic at CSKA Moscow

Virtus Bologna-KC Rivers, 48 hours to decide his future



Virtus Bologna made an official proposal to the player

Virtus Bologna made an official proposal to KC Rivers. Former Latina and Benetton Treviso player is under contract with Roanne and now has 48 hours to break the agreement and join the Italian team.

Rivers starred last season in Legadue with Latina and then moved to Benetton Treviso.

Vujosevic is the main target of Virtus Roma for the coming season

According to B92.net, Virtus Roma wants Dusko Vujosevic as head coach for the future, starting from next season.

Lottomatica parted ways with Boniciolli yesterday and is set to announce Saso Filipovski as new head coach for the rest of the season, Filipovski former assistant coach of Vujosevic in the first part of the year in Moscow.

Vujosevic did not comment the news.

Virtus Bologna wants to trade Marcellus Kemp to Roanne in exchange for KC Rivers. It would be a good deal because KC Rivers wants to go to Bologna and Kemp said in an interview that he wanted to go to France. So this would be win-win situation for both players and clubs
