Are unicaja the team who had a player called, they may still have him, "Louis Roe". I only ask because i recognise the name somewhere and i read an article on Louis Roe.
#3
Unicaja had Garbajosa, now in Toronot, and Hermann, also in the NBA this season. They won the league as they were the better side. They may have Roe, I'm not 100% sure

Well the season has started with plenty to tell. Real Madrid thrashed Unicaja the first day (+29) and then they won away at Granada (+7). Thanks to the margings, we are top. Though this means little yet, at least it is a sign of things getting better in the club. Unicaja also lost the secondd game at home against a newly promotes ide. Barcelona started losing 58-51 at Alicante and then lost 71-74 to Gran canaria at home. The fact that Unicaja and Barcelona are the bottom clubs now doesn't matter; they won't stay there much longer. It'd be alaugh if Barcelona got relegated

The final already known: two legendary teams Real Madrid and Winterthur FC Barcelona will meet in the ACB Final Series.

In the last semifinal games they defeated Joventut and Tau respectively.

Real Madrid did not have an easy game against Joventut in the Palacio Vistalegre, where almost 14,000 fans watched Real's close victory 65-61 over Joventut. The final result was not known till the last minute, where Real's leader Louis Bullock (186-G-76, college: Michigan) (total 16 points) was still getting free throws. He was helped by Raul Lopez (13), Felipe Reyes and Alex Mumbru (11 each). The top players for Joventut were Rudy Fernandez (15) and Elmer Bennett (13).

Contrary to Real's very close game, Winterthur FCB did not have big problems in the game against Tau Ceramica, getting easy victory 95-79. Gianluca Basile and Juan Carlos Navarro lead Barca with 24 and 23 points respectively. The top scorers for Tau were Serkan Erdogan (19), Luis Scola and Tiago Splitter (12 each).

Semifinals Game 3:

Real Madrid - Joventut Badalona 65-61 (Bullock 16, Lopez 13, Reyes 11, Mumbru 11, Moiso 5 - Fernandez 15, Bennett 13, Barton 9, Flis 7)

WFC Barcelona - Tau Ceramica 95-79 (Basile 24, Navarro 23, Grimau 10, Marconato 9, Vazquez 8 - Erdogan 19, Scola 12, Splitter 12)

Real Madrid is just one win away from winning its 30th Spanish League title, as it leads 2-0 in the best-of-five title series against archrivals Winterthur FC Barcelona. On Tuesday, Real Madrid had to battle hard to edge Winterthur FCB 83-80 in Game 2 in front of 13,780 fans at Palacio Vistalegre in the Spanish capital, in one of the best games seen in Spain this season. Once again, Felipe Reyes paced the winners with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Louis Bullock added 21 points on 10-of-10 free throws for Madrid. Gianluca Basile led Barcelona with 18 points off the bench. Michalis Kakiouzis, who played 3 seconds in Game 1, added 17 and 8 rebounds, Juan Carlos Navarro had 14 points and Jaka Lakovic 11. It all came down to the final minute, in which Felipe followed back-to-back baskets with free throws for a 79-75 Madrid lead with 14 seconds to go. free throws by Bullock and a final layup by Blagota Sekulic sealed the outcome. Barcelona hosts Game 3 on Friday.

The game as a balanced one since the early going, as Lakovic hit one from downtown for a 9-9 tie midway through the opening quarter. Kerem Tunceri, Alex Mumbru and free throws by Charles Smith allowed Madrid to get a 19-14 margin, but Kakiouzis and Basile brought Barcelona within 23-21 after 10 minutes. Bullock and Raul Lopez stroke from downtown early in the second quarter, while Reyes dunked it to boost the hosts' lead to double digits, 35-25. Barcelona did not panic, however, as Denis Marconato and Kakiouzis fueled a 4-12 run to get the guests within 40-37 at halftime. Navarro stepped up after the break but Bullock, Reyes and Lopez still kept Madrid ahead throughout the third quarter. A final put-back basket by Reyes allowed Madrid to keep a 61-57 edge after 30 minutes. It didn't last long, however, as Kakiouzis kept pacing Barcelona while a corner triple by Lakovic put the guests ahead, 64-65, with 7 minutes to go. Free throws by Marconato gave Barcelona its last lead, 75-75. Reyes hit a four-meter shot, Kakiouzis' three-point shot went in and out while Reyes scored over Marconato for a 77-75 Madrid lead with 28 seconds to go. Navarro missed a five-meter shot while Reyes - who else? - made free throws that almost sealed the win, 79-75, with 14 seconds remaining. Basile and Bullock traded triples while a triple by Lakovic gave Barcelona some hope, 81-80. Sekulic scored with 1.4 seconds to go while Basile missed a desperation midcourt shot at the buzzer.

A great season for Real so far. Real won La Liga in football and they will probably repeat that in basketball. It will be interesting to see them in the transfer market this summer since they'll host next year's Final Four.
