Preparation
#21
Today Lithuania played their last friendly against Lietuvos Rytas who are celebrating their 10th anniversary. The team played with their final squad as Donatas Slanina was dropped. The game should have been easy for Lithuania because they should be near to the best form since Eurobasket starts on Monday while Rytas started practicing only a couple of weeks ago and also missed Joao Paulo Batista and Kenan Bajramovic who are playing with their national teams. Unfortunatelly the game was totally different. Rytas looked at least equal if not better. The game was difficult and could have gone either way. Yet again slow offence from Lithuania which doesn't work because it is easy to defend against it and it doesn't fit our players. This game leaves me worried and I am not sure what to expect at Eurobasket despite all those high expectations.

Lithuania 77:70 Lietuvos Rytas

Lithuania: Kaukėnas 22, Jasikevičius 12, K.Lavrinovič 9, Songaila 8, Šiškauskas 7, Kleiza 7, Javtokas 6, D.Lavrinovič 5.

Lietuvos rytas: Nielsen 15, Eidson 13, Petravičius 12, Price 8, Štelmahers 7, Jomantas 4, Šležas 4, Lukauskis 3.
