What a game. Pao defended Kirilenko perfectly, but Siskauskas appeared on the scene. Although this defeat Pao played great. If they didn't insist in playing on Batiste they could win this game. By the way if CSKA could win at OAKA despite their average basketball, they can win the title undefeatedly.

What a frustrating feeling. But knowing it comes from such a game, worthy of the two teams, it's OK.

Congrats to CSKA. They came to OAKA and won like men.
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Holly f**ck <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' /> 16p 12r for Macvan.. I'm impressed! We're gonna get him next season ready to have a main role in a team like Maccabi.

Congrats to Partizan for that victory and thanks for hurting Real's chance for first place <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

Well, by the time the first half came to an end, we were 9 points ahead, playing great team basketball and on the other side Kirilenko had -4 in ranking! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I was more than sure that we could keep up and win for sure! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bag.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Bag' />

Obviously, we surprised them but they came back strong in the second half and in OT and Kirilenko finished with 22 ranking! That means, in the second half+OT he had 26 ranking!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Tsartsaris got injured(unfortunately is very serious <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thudown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ) after just 48 seconds of playing time and we lost are most appropriate "body" for this game especially by the time we don't have Fotsis anymore. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />

Diamantidis played 20 out of the 45 minutes because of foul trouble. Ofcourse his 4th foul(that forced him to stay out of the game for most of the 4th Q) was a wonder-foul called because of this ridiculous athlete named Teodosic. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thudown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/angry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Angry' />

For PAO Kaimakoglou was extremely good, as was Sato who terminated Kirilenko in the first hafl(he was fun to watch <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' /> ) and ofcourse Calathes was great despite this unexpected mistake he made in the last play. He played for 39 minutes and he tried to play his role and in the meantime to cover a little bit of Diamantidis' role--that's tough!

For CSKA Kirilenko came up big after the half, in both ends, Khryapa was great in both ends too, Krstic very good in offense(he grabbed 11 rebounds-6 offensive) and finally Siskauskas who made the first 7 CSKA points and he scored the gamewinning shot!

Panathinaikos' fans we are very satisfied with this performance and we know that our team will be capable of winning when it counts the most!

Personally I think we deserved a bit more that win but ofcourse the outcome wasn't unfair! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Apart from the fact that everyone wanted this win, I think that it's better we lost because when you win,you don't only forget most of your mistakes but you also forget what you did good! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Now, that loss came in very good time(regular season) and it will be very benefitial for the future of the competition! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

About the game in Moscow, considering that Tsartsaris will be still injured, Perperoglou still sidelined and Lavrinovic will be back for CSKA I think it will be a lot tougher. But if we had have Diamantidis without foul trouble... it will be good! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

I'm pretty sure now(after Tsartsaris' injury) that Zots will look for a very good power forward in January to cover Tsartsaris absence, and Smith's inexperience!

In that case, I hope there will be not NBA season!!!

Prince may give a "gift" to PAO BC!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

Pao had game , everything but with missing some open shots,you can't win <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/agree.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Agree' /> I hope that Zeljko will fix that <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

The reasons I'm sad about this game is firstly, the fact that SARAS had two chances to finish the game but he missed two open shots and secondly, the fact that with the game tied, we had 6+ seconds for a gamewinning shot and we tried pick n roll <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' /> !!!

In such situations you have to go for the gamewinnig SHOT, especially by the time you have Saras in your roster! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/baby.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Baby' />

The major fact that caused us the game is the fact that we played 25 out of the 45 minutes without Diamantidis. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bag.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Bag' />

Shocking defeat for PAO, Saras and Kalathis will have to cover Diamandids absence from the court with better leadership and acumen. The game was PAO's, but old man Siskauskas thought differently and hurt PAO where it really counted. Still, if Kirilenko doesn't stay with CSKA much longer, I don't think they'd pull off massive wins like this any more. Congratulations to Partizan for punishing Real <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> Also Armani Milano had a tough game against Charleroi which is a hard nut to crack, but Fotsis was top scorer with 19 points, with help from Galinari (17p), Bouroussis (11p), and Nicholas (10p). Also, Maccabi played well against Efes, showing them how the game is played when it comes to fine details.
