Fenerbahce 81-68 Chorale Roanne

Aris 69-72 Lietuvos Rytas

Montepaschi 83-71 Tau Ceramica

AJ Milano 63-72 Cibona

Brose Baskets 59-73 Lottomatica

What a win for Rytas. They looked sleepy for the biggest of the game. And althought the score was very close for most of the time, Aris managed to run and got 10 point lead in the 4th quarter. But then Rytas showed how strong their character is and had a great comeback to win the game by 3 points thanks to solid performance from Hollis Price. Despite being in the shadow for half of the game he showed his skill in decisive minutes.

Fenerbahçe got a very important win against Roanne. They had the lead till the last minutes of 4th quarter and Roanne's comeback was'nt enough for a win. Now Fener is trying to finish this group with 8 wins and they have to win the matches against against Bamberg (a) and Partizan to secure 4th place. They will be better with the increasing performances of James White and Tarance Kinsey...

Hope that Rytas will secure the 1st place in group b. To beat Efes Pilsen in their court will be very hard. Though I think they can do it. A good thing is that we have players who can come off the bench and play well. Kenan Bajramovic proved that yesterday with the best Euroleague game for him.

Prokom Trefl 79-59 Virtus Vidivici

Maccabi Elite 87-69 Unicaja

Olympiacos 71-67 CSKA Moscow

Le Mans 84-91 Efes Pilsen

Union Olimpija 74-83 Žalgiris

Partizan Igokea 72-80 Real Madrid

AXA FC Barcelona 55-56 Panathinaikos

Only the second away win for Žalgiris this season. Olimpija were well prepared for the game. Marcus Brown missed his first 5 3-pointers. In the second half he felt his shot and nailed 3 3-pointers in a row as well as driving to the basket. Žalgiris had 16 point lead at one stage but then the team relaxed and Olimpija managed to close the gap to 6 points. Lithuanian champs held on their lead to book their place in Top 16.

Group A is wide open. CSKA should finish 1st while the other 4 teams can finish from 2nd to 5th. Only 5 teams left unknown in Top 16.

Maccabi beat Unicaja. few points about Maccabi :

1(MARCUS FIZER: the guy is a beast. Nothing can stop him but himself. Starting to show why he's number 4 pick in the draft.

2)Yotam- a true pg. finaly!

3)Garcia: is speedy gonzales playing basketball? god what an agressive player.

Marcus Brown proved yet again how good he is. And Žukauskas who was a bench warmer at Rytas is probably the most consistent player at Žalgiris and even more he is in starting 5.

Maccabi playing well after the change of the coach. Who knows we might even see them in final 4?
