CSKA Moscow 93-70 Unicaja

Lietuvos Rytas 87-84 Fenerbahce Ulker

Lottomatica 33-30 Barcelona 20:00'

Tau Ceramica 43-37 Aris 20:00'

A great game in Vilnius. For most of the time Rytas weren't doing well and managed to catch Fenerbahce only in the 3rd quarter. But they had to come from behind again in the 4th. Unfortunatelly Rytas couldn't win by 4 or more which means that they must beat Aris next week and expect Fenerbahce to lose against TAU. This might be tricky because TAU have nothing to lose.

I feel that Rytas might regret this. They left their fate in TAU's and Fener Ulker's hands...

Aris is out, as expected... they are just Top16 material and that's all... like last year...

Roma did it and will fight with Unicaja for the 2nd spot while Barca is probably out...

CSKA and TAU will finish top of their groups.

But I feel that the best games are coming tomorrow...

Wow what a Gameday indeed. Amazing games, results, suspense.

Partizan-PAO and Olympiakos- Real Madrid are games of the Euroleague, so far.

All week 5 results:

Lietuvos Rytas 87-84 Fenerbahce Ulker

CSKA Moscow 93-70 Unicaja

Lottomatica 68-63 Barcelona

Tau Ceramica 90-74 Aris

Efes Pilsen 79-83 Partizan

Žalgiris 52-61 Olympiacos

Panathinaikos 77-76 Montepaschi

Real Madrid 100-103 Maccabi

It was chaos in Kaunas for 2 quarters. Žalgiris had the lead but wasted it in the end and managed to lose even by 9 points. Well, at least Rytas still have something to fight for in the last game. One question that coems to my head is what would have happened if Žalgiris had a good coach...

I saw the second half between PAO and Montepaschi and I really enjoyed it. Commentator was hilarious as always but the game was great.
