Anthony Parker on his twitter: "Rumors of my return to Maccabi are not true. I don't know how this got started. Enjoying my last few days of vacation in Tel Aviv."
It was expected that this rumor was bullshit but it was fun to dream for a while <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

Too bad, that would have been fun to see. Maybe they could have also made a run at Saras, just for old time's sake.

I dunno.. The thing is that unlike Saras who's a completely different player and probably doesn't belong in the highest level anymore, Parker still was a decent starting-five player in the NBA, he's still a great defender (unlike his Lithuanian friend <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />) a stable shooter and can probably still contribute and be a good role player in the Euroleague, Saras seems to be over while Parker looks like he's still got a season or two to give (of course not close to what he used to be but still in a decent level) also by his NBA experience what was most visible to me is that he can adapt to any role, in Maccabi he did that by playing all different back court positions but in the NBA he has shown that he can step down and be a perfect role player, maybe he's this special thing we were missing for a championship last season.. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />
But the price they were talking about in 'one' is 1 million dollar, and no role player (no matter how legendary AP is) is worth 1 million dollar, as much as I'd love to see him yellow again, the team comes first and a lot more can be done with such amount of money.
Old times are great to remember and always bring me a smile but the future matters more.

For the Greek team he said that is one of the best teams in Greece, PAO or OLY!!
Well, Olympiacos has not room for a foreigner in the roster anymore so I guess is PAO!
On the other hand, I don't think Zots(and PAO) needs a playmaker. Also I don't think Arroyo is a kind of player that Zots likes.

I'd love that <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />
Most likey that move would be for Peja to finish his career with his old team where he lived his first glory years. I hope he'd become part of the basketball management when he eventually retires from the sport. He is pretty much an integral part of PAOK and Thessaloniki, with his wife being a Greek ex-model.
By the way Teo, it's 're-signed' and not 'resigned'. 'Resigned' means when someone gives up something or a position <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

So I see you've already edited your posts where you wrote 'resigned' instead of 're-signed' <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />
You can't cover up your tracks there I'm afraid mate <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' /> It's no big deal, but just like in Greek where you may put the accent of a word on a different vowel and it changes the meaning of the word completely, I just pointed out a similar difference with those two words in English <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
