Olympiakos wants Ettore Messina to leave Real Madrid to take over of the Greek team, which also considers Xavi Pascual
Olympiakos is really interested in Ettore Messina, and will try the Italian coach to leave Real Madrid and become the replacement of Panagioitis Giannakis in the Greek team. According to the Greek media, the president of the club, Panagiotis Angelopoulos, has travelled to Madrid to meet with Ettore Messina to discuss the situation. Messina is under contract with Real Madrid until 2012. Another coach on the radar of Olympiakos could be Xavi Pascual, from Regal Barcelona, who has an extra year of contract, but a low clause to leave the team.

Maccabi Tel Aviv wants to resign Stephane Lasme
Despite being released days ago, Stephane Lasme could be back to Maccabi Tel Aviv. The Israeli team has made an offer to the 27-year-old Gabonese forward to go back to Maccabi, where Lasme avergaged 6.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. The arrival of David Blatt has changed the point of view to Maccabi regarding Lasme.

wait so Blatt wasn't the reason that he left? that explains a lot..I thought that they couldn't find anyone better so they decided to resign him as a default but if Blatt wants him...

Yes, they hate you...
Are you serious? As I wrote, Maccabi pays their clubs, and get them. They don't pay what the clubs want, they don't come. Simple as that. It has nothing to do with the geography of Israel or feelings towards Israel... <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />
Respect and thanks for everything:

Because they might be signed by (financially) bigger clubs if they wait? (PAO, Barcelona etc).

I mean he played in Estonia and Spain 2nd division until two years ago... If you think he is good enough because he is 213cms tall, then I wish Maccabi gets him.
