I know that he is behind his best days, he is 34.5, but thing that he hardley makes now, more then 90% of the PG in Europe, will never learn.

Saras was never a great athelte or a great defender..he was always a very smart PG..I don't see how this could be affected by his age

Official press release from ProTalent:
ProTalent denies Sarunas Jacikevicius agreed terms or close to agreeing terms with Maccabi.
Reports today about our client "agreeing terms with Maccabi Tel-Aviv" are compltley false!
Sarunas Jacikevicius is still in talks with Panathinaikos about a new contract and we hope that in the next couple of days things will be clearer.

Vouyoukas has agreed with Maccabi, but there is a term that in case PAO makes him an offer, he can disregard the deal with Maccabi.
Respect and thanks for everything:
Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Since PAO says they don't want to pay for Maric's buyout and since Mavroeidis signed with Bilbao. Then who else would PAO sign other than Vougioukas? It's odd that they are even waiting to sign him at all. He was the second best Greek center this year.

Well he might be assured of a bigger role and more playing time in Maccabi so maybe that would make him stay there. It's just that from PAO's view their options for a new center are starting to dry up really quickly.
