100% true that maccabi are intersted.whethear he will move to there? thats i don't know.
Gecevicius is one of the best prospects around Europe right now and porbably will be on of the best guards in the near future
So why not?.........Gershon already bring Teodosic to Olympiacos so why not Gecevicius to Maccabi?

Martynas Gecevicius a top candidate for Maccabi next year.
a representative of the israeli team was in the BBL final on saturday and discussed a possible move for the talented PG.
Gershon really wants Gecevicius for next year and sees him as perfect combination with Doron Perkins.
So maybe Maccabi won't get Sarunas Jasikevicius but will get a player that is really similer to him only 13 years younger.

It was easy to see that GeceviÄius will have offers after this season. Though I didn't expect to see a team like Maccabi making a move for him. GeceviÄius is SG. That's his primary position. He only plays as PG sometimes simply because Rytas does not haev enough quality PG's and even those that are on the squad are injured. For example, GineviÄius was the only point during BBL Final Four. So I'm not sure what to think about these rumours. If Maccabi needs a SG who can also run the point for short periods then he could be a good investment in the future.

Agree. Anyway, I think that Saras and Scheyer are done deal for MTA, and one more PG avialible only if Perkins will leave.

SicKabba is right, Gecevicius is one of the most promising young guards in Europe and it makes sense when he comperes him with Å aras (Å aras and Macas influenced his game style a lot, that's what Gecevicius is saying and I see that while he's a great shooter and passer at the same time). Differently that Vilius, I'm not surprised at all to see Maccabi interested, I'm thinking that if not this summer than next one he might go to any of powerhouses like CSKA, Barsa, PAO.
Anyway, the head manager of Rytas said Gecevicius is not moving anywhere next season, but you never now. I would like to see him in Rytas for longer time, they might surprise Euroleague next season.

Real Madrid, Regal Barcelona and Caja Laboral, waiting for Rudy Fernández.
Rudy Fernández wants to stay in the NBA, and the Portland Trail Blazers are also willing to keep the Spanish guard at least for the next season. In case Fernández finally decides to go back to Europe, Real Madrid, Regal Barcelona and Caja Laboral are waiting for any movement of the player, who wouldn't demand less than â¬2.5 million ($3.3 million) per season.

Caja Laboral could be close to land Milt Palacio for the playoffs
Caja Laboral could be interested in signing Milt Palacio for the rest of the season. The guard from Belize has just finished the A1 season with Kavala, and would continue his career in the Spanish team if both parts close a deal. Palacio has averaged 10.3 points and 2.6 assists in 16 games played with Kavala this season.

According to "Sport 5.co.il", MTA wants Zoran Planinic, which seems to me as a bulshit. (the news)

its not bullshit,Maccabi are really intersted in Planinic.i also wrote it couple of weeks ago:

I think that if Maccabi thinks that Saras can play 30+ minutes all season and be a major team player,so they are doing a big mistake.is they plan to give Saras a role player for 20 minutes per game so it could be a good business.
Some news from Europe:
Efes Pilsen, who are planning an Overhaul is the summer are intersted in bringing back Drew Nicholas who played there 2 seasons ago.
Mario Kasun was offered to Maccabi Tel-Aviv for next season.the Croat has finished 2 years contract with Pilsen(â¬1.2M per season) was offered to Maccabi in almost half of that price.
Maccabi also interted in Zoran Planinic and Forward Milan Macavan

Altough i think that Zoran will have to understand that he wonnt get the sums that he got in TAU or CSKA.i think maccabi can get him gor 1m Euros per year or even less.he had really bad year

Right. Some how, I remember that you wrote about Rakocevic and not Planinic...
But I think that Saras is close in Maccabi.
