Looks like they aren't going to get him.

However, ONE.co.il are reporting that Maccabi is in negotiations with Dee Brown, who started the season with the Wizards.[/quote]

Dee signed with maccabi, and will ba able to take part in the next game against Alba. Good siggning imo.

Real Madrid is close to signing 25 year old Brad Olsen from Fuenlabrada. Olsen has been one of the best players of the ACB this season averaging 20 points per game.

He is expected to sign a 5 year contract and the transfer will cost Real Madrid around 1.5-2 million euros.
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Fresh news (i think so  )! Olympiakos will loan out Igor Milosevic (1986, 183 cm) to Lietuvos Rytas. I think Lietuvos is best option available for Oly and Milosevic, but I don't think the same for Rytas (that Igor is their best option available)...

Milosevic might not be the best option on the market but Rytas has limited budget so he is not that bad.
Greek Sports Court rejected both Olympiakos' and Macijauskas' appeal for a contract break. So Macijauskas will continue being an Olympiakos player until the summer of 2010 and Olympiakos will continue paying him 2.2m euros per year.

Both sides have the right to appeal in the next 10 days.
Respect and thanks for everything:

What will Olympiacos do if their appeal is denied? It would be a waste of money fi they don't let Macas play and still keep him. On the other hand, if they want to loan him out they will expect to get the other team to pay as much as possible. I just want to see Macijauskas in action this season.
I think you should forget seeing Macas play in this season.

That being said if Olympiacos' appeal is rejected they are a number of options.

1. Take Macas back and let him play

2. Take him back and don't let him play

3. Loan him out for a percentage of his salary

4. Sell him

5. Negotiate with his agent to release him with some kind of compensation

Reports in Israel say Tau Vitoria offered Lior Eliyahu 1 million euros for next season and he is expected to leave Maccabi in the summer for Spain.

Olympiacos appealed the court's decision which kept Macijauskas as a player of the team. The decision on the appeal is expectedto come out in June. Which means Macas will miss the entire season.

Maccabi suspended Carlos Arroyo until further notice. He reportedly disrespected Gershon and others. Some Israeli sites are reporting that they might release him if they find a decent replacement, but it sounds too far fetched.
Alba Berlin signed Aris' forward Blagota Sekulic. He will play for them until the summer of 2010.

Maccabi is becoming the next Olimpija Lublijana. After the departure of Yotam Halperin, Terrence Morris next to leave the yellows is Lior Eliyau that got a big offer from TAU (around 1M e a year for 4 seasons) and other spanish teams are after D'or Fischer. I can't even tell how sad I am from this situation...
Galatasaray, Tau Ceramica and Benetton interested in Pops Mensah-Bonsu.
