TAU sacked Spahija... What the hell <!-- s --><!-- s --> I mean the guy wins them the so much desired title, gets them rid of their loser/choker status and they don't want him? Strange things going on within Spanish basketball. Perhaps they're thinking about Scariolo?
TAU re-signed Splitter for 4 seasons. Way to go! Rudy Fernández will play for the Blazers next season. I hope he won't regret it.

Becirovic, Tomasevic and Dikoudes released by PAO.
Also PAO is considering offers from Valencia for Winston and Bologna for Sakota. They will probably accept them. Jasikevicius has to decide by July15th if he wants to continue or not. He probably will, as I don't think anyone else an offer him this kind of money... on the other hand if not he must pay a 250K release clause to PAO. Pekovic is a done deal for PAO and will come to Athens to sign a 3 years contract with the Greek champs. The next signing will probably be Demetris Verginis, the PAOK youngster who did pretty well in the A1 this year. Respect and thanks for everything:

Only greek "red" media wrote about them as "possible" ( <!-- s --><!-- s --> ) signings of the team. But I have no complaints from Aggelopoulos brothers so far. They even tried to bring one of the best Power Forwards in the NBA history - Chris Webber - last year, with 10 million $, so it would not be a surprise if a well known NBA player ( no Gilbert Arenas or Pedja Stojakovic for example <!-- s --><!-- s --> ) like Udrih or Brezec will sign for Olympiakos. At the moment, Olympiakos has OFFICIAL interest over Thorodis Papaloukas, Antonis Fotsis and Michalis Pelekanos.
