He should have learnt that job during last two seasons <!-- sBag --><!-- sBag -->

According to the latest news Rimas Kurtinaitis rejected Lietuvos rytas offer. That leaves Butautas and Kazlauskas.

Some news concerning Aris:

Mazzon is still negotiating the terms of his compensation by Fortitudo, therefore won't sign with Aris until it is sorted, that's why Aris is also looking towards Alexandr Trifunovic...

Yiorgos Kalaitzis will be released while they will try to sign Christos Charissis instead and also add Yiorgos Tsiaras from Olympia.
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Better choice than Kurtiniatis. But i would prefer Trifunovic.

Ergin Ataman is very close to Efes Pilsen. Probably he will sign tomorrow. Also Ataman wants to bring his ex-player Preston Shumpert.

Vujanic negotiating with Tau for next season.

Dynamo Moscow propose 2.5 million euros per season to coach Sergio Scariolo!

Welcome back <!-- s:thup: --><!-- s:thup: --> I agree with you. Kurtinaitis is not experienced enough or his experience wasn't very good. Sireika will be the second coach to work with Rytas after coaching Zalgiris at some point.

It was pretty much the end of a cycle, Aíto felt it was the best for him and the club. He was with the team 5 years. Also his name has been rumoured to take over the NT when Pepu steps down after the Olympics <!-- s:cool: --><!-- s:cool: -->

So as we all know Maccabi gave Vujcic a premition to talk with other teams. Nikola is very sad and no one here could get his responed.

for me it's a very sad day. I don't think I will be able to watch basketball ever again (but I said that too when Parker and Nadav henefeld left).

for other news about Maccabi, Lior Eliyahu as offers from Spain and France.

bye bye Nikola I wishes u all the best in the world I had the right of watching u here. thanks. <!-- sSad --><!-- sSad -->

I'm not sure that Vujcic will leave. Good chance that he will, but not 100%.

He loves Maccabi and maybe a new negotiation with Maccabi with a lower salary, keep him.

I honestly can't see that happenes. Nikola got at least 3-4 years to play. He needs to insure his familiy financial future. I think he'll go for where he can be paid vest. if he had only one year more to play or he would be at the age of 34-5 I think Maccabi had the chance to keep him. Besides that I think we all, maccabi fans, should thank him for the last 2 years. he was the one that ensure Maccabi won't fall in the euroleague. I know he was injured most time but he was the difference in the money time. And above all I will miss this lovely dude.

Go ahead Nikola! Go to PAO and revange CSKA for al those 3 last years!!!

Hey!!! We are here too. And the next year I'm sure, Oly will be much more stronger. <!-- s:p --><!-- s:p --> <!-- sWink --><!-- sWink -->

So, according to latest news, Olympiakos is so close ( and propably will ) to sign, Buducnost Bc forward, Vladimir Dasic. He is a power forward that can also play as small forward ( imagine something like Tsartsaris or Vasilopoulos ), he's 20 years old, and he is one of the biggest basketball talents around nowadays. But we are not sure, if he will stay in Oly's roster, next year. He will probably loaned out to another team.

Also, some of Olympiakos officials, according to the same source, notified Thodoris Papaloukas, about Olympiakos interest!!! It was about time, I think... <!-- sRolleyes --><!-- sRolleyes --> <!-- sBiggrin --><!-- sBiggrin -->

Nikola Vujcic was a symbol of Maccabi, but the team did fine without him this season and it's time to move on.
