The 8th team will be selected by ULEB.
There will be 16 teams in the second qualifying round. Half of them will qualify for the ULEB Cup. All the teams knocked in first and second qualifying rounds will join FIBA Europe Cup.
The first qualifying round will be staged on October 14th and 21st. The matches of the second round will be played on November 4th and 11th.
The final ULEB Cup stage should begin in the second half of November.

If Rytas don't play in Euroleague next season, then they will be among 24 teams that will be automatically qualified. Then Siauliai would be among 16 teams that will play qualifying games. If Rytas go to Euroleague, then Siauliai get automatic qualification <!-- s -->[img]{SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif[/img]<!-- s -->

Well ULEB could give one invitation to the team of their choice and according to the rumours Rytas, Dynamo Moscow and maybe Barcelona are the teams on that list.

This words maybe have to be in Euroleague format <!-- s -->[img]{SMILIES_PATH}/smile.gif[/img]<!-- s --> but I want to ask you- Does Akasvayu can qualificate to Euroleague?
