NBA Draft Lottery
#1
A little late, but no one posted so:

Quote:The 2008 NBA Draft Lottery was held Tuesday night, May 20th. The Bulls were the big winner, moving up to the 1st despite owning less than 2% of the ping pong balls. Seattle was the biggest loser as they fall down to the 5th spot.. a frontcourt of Kevin Durant and Michael Beasley will no longer be possible.

I find it funny how Miami didn't win 20 games last season. What a joke. Wade needs to step up. Plus: they had shaq and still were 10/50 with him.

Euros Danilo Gallinari, Nicolas Batum, Alexis Ajinca, Ante Tomi? and Serge Ibaka will enter the draft. Víctor Claver, Omri Casspi, Giorgi Shermadini and Rudy Mbemba decided not to.

Why would he apply when there's no chance to be drafted <!-- sSmile --><!-- sSmile --> Kalnietis was considered a huge talent in 2006 but he didn't progress because of lack of playing time.

According to espn.com the Greek Kostas Koufos might end up at #9... but I really doubt it...
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

I saw that. Charlette is NOT going to pick him up.

If they do, they're dumb. Oj Mayo is going to us, the Timberwolvies. <!-- sWink --><!-- sWink -->

If not, I hope we get Kevin Love.

Then, Nets, 10th pick, I'll think they'll get Danilo Gallinari a small forawrd from..Armani Jeans Milano.

Kostas Koufous i sgoing to the 76ers 16th overall probably. <!-- sWink --><!-- sWink -->

Danilo Gallinari is the first International player to be drafted at probably 10 or 11.

Do you mean the firs international player to be drafted so high or exact drafy pick? If you mean highest pick then in 2006 another Italian Andrea Bargnani was 1st overall draft pick, in 2003 Darko Milicic was 2nd overall pick etc.

Just wasn't sure what you meant by that <!-- sSmile --><!-- sSmile -->

About europeans:

Danilo IMO has good chances to be drafted to the Knicks, if Mike D'Antoni has even a little power - I am sure he will pick son of his old friend. Danilo is one of the top prospects in the world and has European Basketball experience, not NCAA or some development league. He already played with real men and prooved he is worthe that. Because if he will go to the NETS as nbadraft.net predicted - bye bye another european talent. Have a nice day and watch how RJ and HalfMan-Half-A-Lazy dunks on Alonzo Mourning.

Kosta Koufos... Born in USA, Played in USA, Will die in USA.. Ok but lets think he is European. IMO Cavs should take him, There is a little chance that Big Z will go away from Cavs because of conflicts and even if not - he is old and there are couple pounds of metals implanted in his legs. Good prospect center would be best choice for Cavs.

Nicolas Batum - another french talent who IMO try to go to NBA too soon. Look at his innocent eyes. Poor child will be humiliated by big dudes and his talent will extinguish like Mantas Kalnietis' ...

The others perhaps not worth to mention, except Nikola Pekovic. I don't know why nobody expected him to be on first 15 picks? He already signed a contract with PAO, anybody knows will he participate in this years draft? And what if he will get high pick? Will PAO let him go?

I think you are right. The chances for a rookie European to get any decent minutes are very small.

As for Pekovic, he's 22-year-old. What is the age for entering NBA draft? I thought it was 23 or 24 so it might be his last chance. He'd rather stay in Europe and have a great career.

I meant that in this year's draft he's the first International player to be drafted. <!-- sWink --><!-- sWink --> I know he isn't the highest all time. <!-- sWink --><!-- sWink -->

the heat couldn't do anything because wade was hurt most of the season and shaq is old and need to retire but he was tired of the heat and ready for a change he had already proved to everybody that he could win a ring without kobe even though wade did most of the work that season but shaq was a distraction
