#1
Let's be informed from here, for the signings in the greek league..

Panellinios BC two days ago announced Ilias Zouros as a head-coach for the next two years.. also, George Kalaitzis and Petrovic-Stergiou signed too with Panellinios..

Fanis Koumpouras, one of the most up-coming PGs of the greek league (he is 26.. <!-- sBlink --><!-- sBlink --> ) signed with Maroussi BC.. last year he played for Olympia Larissa and he had a really good season.

Aigalaio BC came to agreement with coach Skourtopoulos, but the financial problems makes the situation complicated.. the next two weeks are very important for the future of the team.

Aris Thessaloniki is after Christos Tapoutos, and the player might join the team for the next two years if the discussions continue in the good mood they are now..

Kolossos Rhodes keeps Antonis Asimakopoulos and signed Aggelos Tsamis.

A.E.K.Athens faces seri?us economic problems, and from yesterday the team does not have any player in the roster.. <!-- sSad --><!-- sSad -->

Olympia Larissa is after Kevin Fletcher, the PF Aris had on loan in Sorgut..

Maroussi BC is close to sign American-Greek SF-PF Pat Calathes and it seems that it's goin' to be the last add..

Also, rumours have it that Kostas Sloukas, the ''golden'' PG of the Greek NT U-18 is moving in Athens and MAroussi.. <!-- sBlink --><!-- sBlink -->

- P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki will announce Kostas Vasileiadis during the day (or tomorrow..) and is rumoured that Jake Tsakalidis is to sign with P.A.O.K. also.. <!-- sLaugh --><!-- sLaugh -->

Actually this is not true. Olympiacos made an offer to Mantoulidis BC (Sloukas' team), far better than any other team, and reached an agreement with them. Now, Oly try to convince Kostas, to move out from Sallonica, to Athens. <!-- s:cool: --><!-- s:cool: -->

Well, coach MArkopoulos had a discussion with Sloukas and promised him that he would have plenty of playing-time.. the offer made by Olympiacos was far the best, but Sloukas knows that he won't play..

..another fact that must be noticed is that Sloukas's parents want him to stay in Thessaloniki for another 1 or 2 years..

It's a difficult situation, for sure..

P.S. Jamel Thomas and Sven Schultze in Olympia Larissa.. good adds for the team of coach Bartzokas.. <!-- sWink --><!-- sWink -->

Well kanijo, Pappas is a very talented PG. He has plenty of enthusiasm in his game, he is very fast, with fast legs and the fact that he was announced as the best player of the European Championship of NT in Greece, is somethnig that must be noticed!

Something negative, is the fact that sometimes he seems like playing alone, with many silly mistakes.. but it's natural, because he was the only player in the greek NT who palyed in the greek championship! So, he was the captain and the leader of the team!

Last year in Panellinios he didn't get the chances to play, 'cause coach Zouros didn't trust him at all. He has a lot of work to do of course in the courts, but i'm sure that in Spain, Bilbao, he will get much more better, much more experienced and the future seems bright for him! <!-- sWink --><!-- sWink -->

Thanks man! <!-- s:thup: --><!-- s:thup: -->

Probably he is not prepared yet for a competitive league like ACB, almost sure he will be loaned to a LEB (second level division in Spain) or newcomers in ACB like CAI or Bruesa this year, but I'm sure that we will hear much about him next years. I'll keep an eye on him.

- Michalis Kyritsis, ex-head coach of many greek teams and coach of the greek NT, was announced as the GM of P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki. So, Alexis Kyritsis, his son, propably will join the team also.. <!-- sRolleyes --><!-- sRolleyes -->

Alexis Kyritsis played for A.E.K. Athens last year..

- Aigalaio BC signed Marko Car (played for Osijek 2006) and Vladimir Kuljanin..

P.S. If anyone can help with some information for Car, we would be glad.. <!-- sWink --><!-- sWink -->

- Well, K'Zel Wesson -who rrecently signed with P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki- will stay out of trainings for 4-5 weeks, 'cause he failed to pass the medical exams he have been through these days. He must strengthen his knee-muscle, so coach Pedoulakis must search for some other players-solutions for the team's roster. <!-- sBaby --><!-- sBaby -->

- D.J. Thomson came in Greece for A.E.K. Athens. Also, the team announced a couple days ago the signings with Istvan Nemeth, Perikles Dorkofikis and Tarmo Kikerpil.

- Kolossos Rhodes will participate in a tournament at Bormio of Italy. I wrote this, 'cause it's the firts time that the team of Rhodes island will participate in an out-board tournament. <!-- s:thup: --><!-- s:thup: -->

I'm so sorry for my absence all these days but it's a tough period for me due to my exams.. <!-- sSad --><!-- sSad -->

- Tony Akins will join P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki for at least one month in order to give the chance to coach Argyris Pedoulakis to test him..

- Trikala 2000 (the newcomers in A1 division) are close to sign Jamont Gordon..

- A.O. Kavalas will sign a contract with Nikos Kouvelas, P.A.O.K. 's ex-player..(not a good movement..)

- A.E.K. Athens will sign a contract with Sotiris Karapostolou, but the team faces huge economic problems and at the last time gain the clearance letter for the team's participation in the greek league.

- Ivan Zoroski will take the greek passport..

- Rumours have it that P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki will tab Christos Tapoutos, but after the signing of Mamoutou Diarra i doubt if the player joins the team..

- Aris BSA will ''get rid'' of Dimitris Charitopoulos, now that the preparation of the team in Italy came to the end.. the player was just taking part in the preparation of the team in order to help coach Mazzon due to the absence of Blagota Seculic..

..some news of greek basketball.. <!-- s:ball: --><!-- s:ball: -->

Well, tremendous changes should be expected in the team of P.A.O.K. by the time the chairman of the team has resigned from his duties. Also, K'Zell Wesson has left the team without permission and noone knows what will eventually happen.

Also, Trikala 2000 is close to sign Guillaume Yango, the french center played for Rieti.

He is a really good coach for a team like Egaleo is. He has coached many teams that were fighting for not being relagated and during the season he was coaching Ilisiakos, the team that is close to gain the ticket for the A1 division.

It was the best choise in me opinion and I am sure that Egaleo will grab the wins that the team needs in order to stay in the division.
