What is your favourite team and why?

The question is simple and explains itself. Another question which wasn't included in the topic title, is when did you start supporting that team.



I support Zalgiris since I was a kid. They were the only Lithuanian club that played in top European competitions successfully. I like their playing style which is more offensive that defensive. Although there are things not relate to basketball on court that I don't like about the team recently but it will always be my favourite team.

Hapoel Jerusalem. Supported them since I was a kid as well, mostly because the whole family are diehard Hapoel fans. There's something about the fact that they kept losing to Maccabi and having so many disappointing games that made me closer to them. This season, they're playing terrific basketball that is fun to watch.

I like many teams, I really don't have one I like more than the others and I like rivals, for instance, Virtus and Fortitudo, Real and Barcelona, etc..

I am a Panathinaikos fan. I really don't know how I became one though. I guess because when I first started watching basketball I started by watching the 1994-1996 Final Fours where Panathinaikos competed.

I support my hometown club Newcastle Eagles the current British Basketball League champions and follow them all over the UK sometimes 800 miles round triup drive in one day to be at venue for just 2 hours or so!



I love Unicaja because the fans are great and I love the Martin Carpena. I also have a soft spot for Tau because of their passion for Baskonia and I love Vitoria after staying there for the last Copa Del Rey.



Other than that I follow most leagues but dont really have teams that I like to follow.



Is it just me though - Am I the only one who has teams that I dislike for no sensible or logical reason
