Quote:AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Detroit Pistons have failed to sell out Wednesday night's game with Miami, ending the team's sellout streak at just over five years.

The team had sold out 259 straight games at the Palace of Auburn Hills, including postseason, since Jan. 19, 2004 -- the season it won its most recent NBA title. Detroit has appeared in the Eastern Conference finals in the last six seasons, including two trips to the finals.

The streak was the longest in franchise history. The Pistons sold out the first 245 games in Palace history, running from 1988 to 1993 and including two NBA titles
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.
