WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW

Oly just demolished Siena 75-55!!!! With this kind of energetic basketball Oly can not only make the final four, but even reach the final. What a performance. Oly still has to keep cool and not let enthusiasm overtake them. If they do that, Siena will be doomed.

If the F4 was in SEF they would have good chances reaching the final playing this kind of defense.

It's pretty obvious though, that far from SEF they still play good defense but not as close as that.

I think they're maturing from game to game. If they make it to the final 4, they will be a mindset that I think perhaps we may never have seen them so far play like in this season.

MONSTER WIN FOR OLY!!!!!!!!!!

Andersen and Zisis were amazing for Siena, but they just weren't enough to go against the supreme brilliance of match MVP Kyle Hines, 19 points and 4!!! blocks!! Nearly all of them in David Andersen's face, this was definitely something the big man wasn't expecting <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Crazy' /> Once more, the young guys of the team performed extremely well, with Sloukas hitting the MASSIVE 3 with less than a minute left on the clock, and exemplary defence on Siena's big men, just so impressive for a guard 1.90 m in height <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Blink' /><img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> Papanikolaou was always there where he was supposed to be on both sides of the court, and Madzaris stifling the opponent point guard with rock solid D. The whole of Olybiakos played with untethered determination, only Keselj and Papadopoulos really didn't contribute that much at all.

Who would have guessed? The dud that Oly looked like at the beginning of the season, is now in the final four! What a special experience for all the guys who've never been to a F4 before (including Hines). Well played and richly deserved! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Cool' />

Very well deserving win for Olympiacos and he paid Siena back for last year's elimination in the same phase.

Team basketball, unselfishness, energy and of course DEFENSE were the facts that helped Oly to reach the F4 for the 3rd time in the last 4 years! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Let's hope we'll have two Greek teams in the F4!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Cool' />

Many assholes from many forums wrote Oly off, but MY prediction, was bang on target bar the game wins!! The Italian club had a minor chance of victory in my books. With a limited budget, a fighting spirit with young and eager blood, and the eye of the tiger, it's 'Game Over'! Greek basketball is once again catapulted to the elite in Europe, so goodbye Sienna and don't forget to buy your box of kleenex. Well done to the boys tonight, though they didn't play as well as the previous three games. I expect another Greek team (Pao) to earn its ticket for the final four in Constantinople (Istanbul) so as to show the European basketball fraternity that Greek basketball is elite basketball, and you can never ever write it off or underestimate it!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' />

If Oly play like this AND have Dorsey in as well, I think they have a good chance at beating Barcelona- all they have to do is believe it <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
