It should be interesting to see him play on the same team as Ilgauskas. Vince Carter could also join Cavs.
Toronto Raptors decided to trade Chris Bosh.
would be a strange move due to the fact that they tried to build their franchise around him.
Their will be some interresting trades this Summer: T-mac, Bosh, Cleveland will try something, the clippers will probably trade a big man.
Not to forget about the free agent market: Artest, Kidd, ...

The Boston Globe reports: Lou Bender, an all-American basketball player at Columbia whose stellar play during the Depression helped popularize the game and make Madison Square Garden a magnet for college basketball, died Sept. 10 at his home in Longboat Key, Fla. He was 99. The cause was cancer, his son Steven said. Mr. Bender, a 6-foot-1 forward who played at DeWitt Clinton High School in the late 1920s, received the nickname Lulu when he sank a two-handed set shot from long range and a fan shrieked, âNow that was a lulu of a basket.ââ
Cavaliers guard Delonte West is facing weapons charges after being pulled over on his motorcycle while carrying a small arsenal near his Maryland home late Thursday night.
Prince Georgeâs County police said West was carrying two concealed handguns and a shotgun when he was pulled over on Interstate 495 near his offseason home in Brandywine, Md. around 10 p.m. Corporal Clinton Copeland said West was speeding and cut off a police cruiser while riding on his three-wheeled 2009 Can-Am Spyder motorcycle.
After being stopped West informed police he was carrying a gun in his waistband, which was a 9mm Beretta. Police also found a Ruger .357 strapped to his leg and a shotgun inside a guitar case that was slung over his back. West was traveling alone.
-sigh- Come on West!

The Denver Post reports: Nuggets forward Kenyon MartiThe Denver Post reports: Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin has no plans to opt out of his contract at the end of this season. âThey could have sent in that paperwork that day (I signed the contract),â Martin said Friday during Nuggets media day. âNo, I ainât opting out of nothing. I worked for that (money). I want that.â As a result, Martin will make nearly $17 million next season in the last year of his pact. He could have opted out of the deal and become a free agent next summer. He originally signed the seven-year, $92.5 million contract in 2004.
The Trail Blazers have signed forward Ime Udoka, General Manager Kevin Pritchard announced today. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
âWeâre really excited about having Ime back,â said Pritchard. âHe played a key role in our resurgence and we look forward to adding a player of his talent, character and experience to what is shaping up to be a very competitive camp roster.â
Udoka (6-5, 220), a five-year NBA veteran, has posted career averages of 6.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 20.4 minutes in 227 games (78 starts) with the L.A. Lakers, New York, Portland and San Antonio.
The 32-year-old saw action in 67 games, including three starts, with San Antonio in 2008-09. He averaged 4.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 15.4 minutes.
As a Trail Blazer in 2006-07, Udoka experienced his best season as a professional, notching career highs of 8.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 28.6 minutes in 75 games (all starts). His .461 field goal percentage and .406 three-point percentage also marked career bests.
A Portland native and Jefferson High School graduate, Udoka played his senior season and graduated from Portland State University in 2000.
Trail Blazers training camp tips off on Tuesday, September 29.

The rumours are floating around for a while now about a potential trade of Cavs veteran center Zydrunas Ilgauskas. He said this season that he would like to retire while playing in Europe. So that makes me ask whether a trade to another team would push him to go to Europe? Big Z stated may times that he loves Cleveland and doesn't want to leave Cavs for another NBA team.

If he would finally play for NT this summer and than would join some European team would be just amazing <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' /> Just too see this guy playing in Europe after 16 years...But if they won't trade him and will offer some contract, he will stay in Cavs for sure I think.
Vilnius, where did you find Ilgauskas saying that he wants to finish his career in Europe?

That's the article - http://www.krepsinis.net/z-ilgauskas-tro...17790.html
Though I don't think this will ever happen to be honest. What I think is going to happen is he will retire in NBA and continue living in USA and we will not hear anything from him.

Well, Ilgauskas was eventually traded. Cavs traded him, draft rights to Emir Preldzic and 2010 NBA Draft first round pick to Wizards for Antawn Jamison. Big Z could return to Celeveland if he is released during the next 30 days and becomes a free agent.

They are nuts if they will do that. Andre is their most reliable player right now as the one who replace Iverson as the crowd drawer.

There's been a few things floating around that are to maybe happen in the summer. T-Mac's interested in joining Orlando next season to be united with 3rd cousin Vince Carter. I'm not sure how well that one would work out. Also, Manu Ginnobli is about to sign a new 3 year deal with the Spurs quashing the rumours he is to head off to Europe.
Another thing I wanted to ask. What do you think will happen to Bosh, LeBron, Stoudemire, DWade in the summer? Who will sign new deals, who will opt out and leave? If so where do you think they'll go???
