Sabatini sells Virtus Bologna

As it was announced earlier today in the official website, after a meeting held this morning by the Board of Directors, the club received an offer for the corporate package, meeting their standards.



Untill 13:00 on Friday the 19th the club expects the initial 6-million-euro downpayment, which is vital in order to proceed and seal the deal.



Claudio Sabatini has owned Virtus Bologna since 2003 and has declared his intention to sell the club a couple of weeks ago, based on a budget cut due to poor attendance in the recent playoffs.
