Barcelona offered Erazem Lorbek 3 million Euros (3.7 million $) per season. He would be the most paid player in history of Barcelona and probably most paid in Europe at the moment. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

But he'll go to the Spurs, right? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Mellow' />

We will see, but I think that he will join Spurs. Playing in NBA is his wish since playing in NCAA.

That seems like a lot for Lorbek. Don't get me wrong he is a nice player but I wouldn't consider him worthy of being the highest paid player in Europe.

He would be paid more than some of the Euroleague clubs! I hate modern sports...

Well he is the best player in one of the best four teams in Euroleague. Without him Barcelona would have seen the final four. If Kirilenko stays in Europe, than he will remain highest earner. And there is no doubt Lorbek was on second place for Euroleague MVP.

El Mundo Deportivo reports that Lorbek accepted the offer from Barcelona, despite having an even better (!!!) offer from CSKA.

Jordan Farmar will sign a 3 year $10.5m deal with Efes.

The Knicks are on the verge of signing Pablo Prigioni for slightly more than the league minimum. Seems like a heck of a deal for the Knicks.

One of the best local Turkish talents I've seen from the Turkish NT. Smarts and strength in one center package.

Is that a personal opinion, or do you have some evidence to back this up?

Lorbek has renewed his contract with Barcelona. He will be under contract till the end of the 2014-2015 season. This is great news for Barcelona because Lorbek was a very important player for them.

Barcelona has also signed Ante Tomic for three years. I think that Tomic will be a good player for Barcelona because Perovic will leave Barcelona.

Drew Nichols has signed a contract with CSKA. This is a good signing for CSKA after the signing of Aaron Jackson.

Malaga has interest in Fran Vazquez. But the NBA is also an option for Vazquez. If Vazquez goes to the NBA, then Malaga will go after one of the following players: Pablo Aguilar, Milan Macvan or Kaloyan Ivanov.

Marko Keselj wlll leave Olympiacos

Yesterday I posted that Vazquez was weighing his options between staying in Europe or going to the NBA. But today I read that the negotiations between Unicaja and Fran Vazquez are at an advanced stage. It seems that he'll go and play for Malaga but with Vazquez you never know.

Shved hasn't signed a contract with the Timberwolves. He is still weighing his options.
