Fenerbahce Ulker 2009/2010
#1
Willie Solomon-Damir Mrsic

Lynn Greer-Ömer Onan-Serhat Çetin

Emir Preldzic-Gordan Giricek

Semih Erden-Mirsad Türkcan-Enes Kanter

Ömer Aşık-Oğuz Savaş-Gasper Vidmar

The roster seems to be completed. The situation of Giricek is important, he had been operated this summer and he is expected to be ready for the new season. Both Semih Erdeb and Ömer Onan missed the beginning of the last season; Ömer Aşık, Gordan Giricek and Enes Kanter had almost missed the whole season. I wish a season without injury problems for Fener, the roster seems imperessive with a good mixture of young and experienced players.

Looks like an excellent roster. Fener could definitely be a dark horse this season. Greer is a quality addition to an already solid squad.
#3
It seems that the roster has not been closed yet, Fenerbahce is still interested in Tarence Kinsey. It would be a great addition...
#4
Enes Kanter, wonderkid of Turkish basketball has left Fenerbahce and gone to USA. He will be at "The Henderson International School" first and then he will join a college (North Caroline is his wish) and play in NCAA next season (at least we've these informations). But the most interesting part for me is what he revealed in an interview: except the offer of Fenerbahce, he received an offer from Olympiakos for 2 years with an amount of 2 million dollars for each year.

Union Olimpija signed Gasper Vidmar on loan from Fenerbahce. He'll return to Fener at the 2010-2011 season.

I told that the roster had been closed but it seems that we can at least expect a PF addition in the near future.

Fenerbahce Ulker officially signed Tarence Kinsey.

With Tanjevic leaving the team who is the favourite to replace him and who would be the best choice in your opinion?

No more time to finish the season. So, the club will prefer a Turk coach according to me.

First plan is to find a coach can work for Ulker and National Team together. (Like Tanjevic)

Orhun Ene is federation's request. (rumuor)

In the middle of the season, Fenerbahce wanted to agree with Oktay Mahmudi also. He can be NT coach too!
#13
where is mahmudi now? benetton?

Why is this so important? Are the same people running Turkish basketball federation and Ulker? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

Deep topic <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

When Tanjevic came to National Team, he was unsuccessful. He had a great experience but he failed. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Then (unofficial information) federation suggested Tanjevic to Ulker. Ulker accepted it and from that time, Ulker are protected from somebodies in their's heart. I must say, Tanjevic remembered his skills after Ulker experience. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> This part is unofficial. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' /> You can never be approved that info. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

This issue comes from the history given above. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Ah I see. Thanks for clearing things up for me. But isn't it bad for the club if the coach is busy with the national team in summer instead of preparing for the new season?

You are welcome.

You are right, it is bad. I remember the same event before: David Blatt's Russia and Efes Pilsen. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> Blatt came Istanbul very late.

But in TBL, if you have quality in native players, you don't need an extra program. Fenerbahçe and Ulker were different teams a few years ago. Efes and Ulker had best native players. Ulker agreed with Fenerbahçe and they generated a coalition. The new team called : Fenerbahçe Ülker. This team is based on Ulker. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' /> So Fenerbahçe has good native players (inheritance <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> ).

F.Bahçe Ülker (80): Roko Leni Ukiç 11 (1 ribaund-7 asist), Mirsad Türkcan 12 (8 ribaund-1 asist), Semih Erden 9 (5 ribaund), Gordon Giricek 23 (3 ribaund), Damir Kaan Mrsiç (1 asist), Lynn Terence Greer 7 (1 ribaund-2 asist), Tarence Anthony Kinsey 5 (2 ribaund-1 asist), Emir Preldzic 2 (5 ribaund-2 asist), Oğuz Savaş 11 (3 ribaund-1 asist), Serhat Çetin
