The Nuggets signed McGee for 4 years $44m. The contracts bad players have received this offseason are stunning.

Toronto Raptors have signed Jonas Valanciunas to a 2+2 deal. Toronto fans were waiting for him and now their new (star) center has arrived. He'll be contending for Rookie of the Year IMO.

http://blog.raptors.com/press-releases/r...lanciunas/

Last thing on Vazquez: his agent said that they didn't had much communication with Orlando. Orlando didn't show much interest according to his agent, so Vazquez choice wasn't that difficult. His contract doesn't include a NBA-out. But his agent Cobelo still would not rule out the possibility of Vázquez transitioning to the NBA eventually. "It depends on what happens when we finish this contract," Cobelo said. "It's possible that, yes, he could still come." So will see it the saga has finally ended

The Magic's chances of signing Vázquez this offseason may have been hurt when the team parted ways with Otis Smith on May 21 and Hennigan fired longtime assistant general manager Dave Twardzik on June 24. But although Smith and Twardzik had some hope Vázquez could be convinced to make the jump to the U.S., even they had acknowledged that Vázquez might have been using the Magic to gain leverage in his contract talks in Spain

Spurs are interested in Bo McCalebb. But the problem is that the buyout that the Spurs are prepared to pay, isn't enough for Siena. McCalebb has an NBA-out at the end of next season. So probably the Spurs will have to wait till the summer of 2013 to get McCalebb.

Interesting, I hadn't heard this. I would think that if McCalebb has an NBA out in his contract that more than just the Spurs would be pursuing him.

I've heard in the past that serveral teams are interested in McCalebb but no names from those teams have been said, except the Spurs. I think lots of teams are waiting till the end of the 2012-2013 season because then McCalebb will have an NBA-out. Now he doesn't and I'm hearing that if a team want him, then they have to pay 2-5 million euros to buy-out his contract

In the meantime:

CSKA have confirmed that Shved will leave for the NBA. He'll go to Minnesota.

This has been said for weeks now but he'll finally be a member of the Timberwolves. He'll plat great together with Ricky Rubio when he gets back from his injury. I think that Shved can get a place in the starting five if he plays well in preseason

Although I don't like Rubio, I pretty much like the Timberwolves roster for next season!

The rumors about Victor Sada going to the NBA are heating up. Like I said on the previous page, Houston and Memphis are interested in him. The Spanish newspapers are saying that he has offers from both of them. He also has an offer from Unics Kazan. Barcelona doesn't want to give him a salart of one millions euros. Sada is the lowest paid player of Barcelona. He wants to get apprecition for what he has done for Barcelona. Sada is a real team player and he does everything what is best for the team. I think that he should get recognition. I think that he would be a good back-up in the NBA, a type of Jacque Vaughn. I think he could end up at Memphis because he's close with Marc Gasol. I expect more news after Friday because that is the deadline that Barcelona has given Sada

Update on Sada: this article( http://www.encancha.com/articulo/14283) is saying that Victor Sada will renew with Barcelona. He will get 900.000 euros according to the article. Barcelona hasn't confirmed this so I suspect that this is just another rumors. Newspapers such as AS.com and Marca.com haven't confirmed it either so I don't think that it's true but we'll see

In the meantime

Brooklynn Nets have signed draftpick Tornike Shengelia

New York Knicks have agreed to a one-year deal with Ronnie Brewer

James Harden will consider signing with the Suns after next season. He has family in Phoenix and went to Arizona State. He is a restricted free agent so OKC can match any contract that he signs.

Houston is considering to package Jeremy Lamb, Royce White and Terrence Jones or a combination of Marcus Morris, Donatas Motiejunas and Chandler Parsons in a potential trade for Dwight Howard or Andrew Bynum.

I think Houston would be insane to do this! Why would they give up so much talent for a player that won't stay longer than one season( Dwight Howard) or for a player that doesn't want to leave his current team( Andrew Bynum)?

I don't understand the GM of Houston. He has the future of the team with all these young players and now he wants to trade them for a star that doesn't want to come to Houston? That's insane in my opinion

Carl Landry just signed a 2 year $8m deal with the Warriors. I saw him play when he was in high school, not kidding he was the fourth best player on his team. The other three players didn't pan out though.

Lakers Intend To Switch To Princeton Offense Next Season. Kobe has asked the coaches to switch to the Princeton offense because he finds it a great offense and the Lakers would benefit of it. They have hired Eddie Jordan as assistant coach, he used the Princeton offense when he was a headcoach.

Dallas and Orlando had exploratory talks last week regarding Dwight Howard and "will probably talk again. This was confirmed by Donnie Nelson. Terms of a potential deal have not moved beyond the preliminary stage
