Not that easy. CSKA has a budget too. They already have some very good players under contract too. The new league will need to have a certain number of Russians on the squad. It is fairly complicated. Let's look at Maric for example. CSKA already has Sasha Kaun and Smodis with a huge contract. The third center is a Russian which they must have on their roster. Even if Pops leaves that's still a crowd. If Maric is bought out of his contract with Partizan he could end up anywhere. Vesley is a good young 3 but if Siskauskas stays does he want to play behind Siskauskas? If Siskauskas feels like Vesley is coming he may choose to leave. What of Bo? JR Holden is under contract if he he exercises his contract (I think?) so are there enough minutes to get maximum value for Holden and Mccalebb? Kecman for Langdon? No way. Roberts for Khryapa, no way! Pretty good chance everyone ends up somewhere else. I know everyone would love to play for Dule but it's just not that simple.

Siskauskas has been bitching about his pay for the last 3 years in CSKA. If he gets a good offer from another club like Olympiacos or Real Madrid he will be gone in the blink of an eye. Kaun has stated over and over he will go the NBA as soon as possible, which could very well be this year. Big Z and Shaq are probably gone in Cleveland opening the way for Kaun.
Holden is completely washed up and won't be around much longer and needs to be a backup anyway. Smodis is done. It would be extremely surprising if he even played again. Needless to say there is no way that Smodis will keep his contract in CSKA.
