The question is, Oly is in need of an experienced coach. Yannakis just doesn't cut the mustard and is about the most anti-offensive 'coach' I've ever seen.
My question is how come Xavi Pascuale an ex-assistant coach commandeered Barcelona and got the Euroleague with them, where Yannakis couldn't pull off at least a heated resistance against Barca in the F4 Final?
It's really time Greek coaches start making a stand for themselves and showing more of what they've got to offer, like the job Katsikaris is doing in the Basque republic <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

The problem with that is kinda like the problem with coaching a good...center
centers need so much work when they're young to reach their full potential.
but coaches don't have time to deal with young talented players..no one would accept the excuse ''we need 2 years of loosing in order to get a great player''..coaches need to win no matter what.
and teams managements think the same way, they want to win instead of..maybe giving credit to a young talented Greek coach.
the same thing happened to Maccabi for 5 years now and I think they realized that it's the wrong way so they want Blatt and the best Israeli players.
