I dunno.. The thing is that unlike Saras who's a completely different player and probably doesn't belong in the highest level anymore, Parker still was a decent starting-five player in the NBA, he's still a great defender (unlike his Lithuanian friend <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />) a stable shooter and can probably still contribute and be a good role player in the Euroleague, Saras seems to be over while Parker looks like he's still got a season or two to give (of course not close to what he used to be but still in a decent level) also by his NBA experience what was most visible to me is that he can adapt to any role, in Maccabi he did that by playing all different back court positions but in the NBA he has shown that he can step down and be a perfect role player, maybe he's this special thing we were missing for a championship last season.. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
But the price they were talking about in 'one' is 1 million dollar, and no role player (no matter how legendary AP is) is worth 1 million dollar, as much as I'd love to see him yellow again, the team comes first and a lot more can be done with such amount of money.
Old times are great to remember and always bring me a smile but the future matters more.
