Listen carefully. I'm not interested in 2007 or 2009 or any other year, apart from the 15th of September at 18:00 in Lithuania, against YOUR team France. The past is meaningless to me and gone forever.
Your coach 'CHOSE' to play Hellas and not Slovenia by resting players. Well that's a joke, because he has 4 days to rest them before the QF. So basically you completely embarrassed yourselves by getting hammered from Spain to play Hellas!! Why? I'll tell you why. Because you saw our inexperienced 'B' team, and thought to take the easy way out.
I hope you won't start crying if Hellas wins, because I really don't care if we lose. This is our team, it's a 'B' team, and I can't expect more than a top 8. Anything above a QF is a bonus for Hellas and NOT a success at this point in time. This is my opinion, and don't forget we've had a basketball culture way longer than France.
Good luck with your mediocre NBA'ers dude. You're the hot favorites, so why are you worried for!! I think France is better at Soccer and Rugby though, basketball really isn't your game. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

First of all, i don't think France had a chance against Spain even if they played with Tony Parker and Noah so there were no reasons for them to risk an injury and get even more tired to obtain the same result as sunday.
then, France isn't the heavy favorite, as you said you've developped along the years a great basketball tradition and as a result a sort of confidence that allows you to beat certain teams that may seem stronger on the paper. It will be a very difficult game for both teams on sunday and no one is assured to win.
And from what i've seen, i find Serbia or Russia stronger than Lithuania, even at home. so in no way is the second place of groupe E better than the first place.
