I can't explain Efes. They seem to spend so much only to end up barely making the playoffs or losing in the top 16.
I think other than Kazan and Galatasaray, every team has a shot at making the playoffs. CSKA, Real and Fener (despite their horrible stretch) are the only ones I believe are locks. The other 5 spots are up for grabs. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bamberg or Belgrade grab a spot while a powerhouse like Barca or one of the Greek teams sits out. And I think only one makes it out of Milano - Baskonia - Maccabi.
