CS Bologna was upset in Biella by eighth ranked Angelico Biella 80-75. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 29-23 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Croatian-Bosnian center Goran Suton fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard A.J. Slaughter chipped in 18 points. American forward Kennedy Winston produced 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Finnish guard Petteri Koponen added 22 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Angelico Biella (moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Scavolini PS. Loser CS Bologna dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with 6 other teams. Angelico Biella will meet bottom-ranked Enel Brindisi on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
