That might be true in the sense of the idea that there's no way such players as Šaras, Šiška, Kaukenas could be replaced easily. So yes, most likely we won't have a team which would be appreciated among favorites. In other hand, we already had that "raw" experience in 2006 WC and it's logical to think that we will have way stronger team in 2010 WC than in previous WC. For example, Linas Kleiza is way different player ATM, the same goes with K. Lavrinovicius, Jasaitis, Jankunas, Lukauskis, Kalnietis. Macijauskas (hopefully) could still play in WC 2010. No one knows, how these NEW PLAYERS as Janavicius, Motiejunas will look in 2010 WC. They might be pretty solid. My point is, that the metagenesis this time might be even easier that it was after Sabonis era.
