Quote:Israeli giants Maccabi Tel Aviv should announce the signing of 22-year-old talented Croatian center Ante Tomic. Sport5.co.il reports that the player should sign a 4-year deal with the Yellows. Tomic spent last season playing for KK Zagreb in Croatia.
Ante Tomic was 44th overall pick in NBA Draft 2008 by Utah Jazz. 2.18m-tall players is also a member of Croatia national team. Tomic averaged 15.5 points per game for KK Zagreb in Adriatic league.
Maccabi should pay a compensation to KK Zagreb in order to sign the young talent. The size of the fee to be paid has not been disclosed.
