Yeah, found the statement.
My mistake not remembering.
What I meant was that Serbian media and statements from Serbia's NT players were of an unapologetic attitude. As if we actually wanted to start a whole fight over petty BS? I don't think so.
Well about the nationalism thing, note that I didn't say ALL Serbs are nationalists, but this was my opinion and also the opinion of others who I knew who were associated with Serbians, and even Serbs admitted it to me themselves. Of course you can't generalize, but through my experience the characteristic has been encountered frequently.
This is what has been associated with part of (however that is NOT denying great skill that made many Serbs/Yugoslavs great figures of the world basketball of all time) Yugoslavian/Serbian basketball achievements. At least from the side of Greece.
Serbia never likes to lose a match, even if it is a friendly. Connected with the unexplainable anger of the team after Duda's ejection from the game (the refs assigned for the friendly matches were asses however, Hellas NT has been having problems with them trying to impose their authority on the game as if they are the most important thing in the game- these are idiots who are trying to make a name for themselves so that they may get called in the future to referee in European/International basketball events) The Serbia NT has been involved in fights before. Not wanting to lose a match even by one point, fights, and the mention of nationalist attitudes being rife in Serbia give quite the view of Serbs being nationalist in Greece.
