Who saw the friendly vs. Cyprus yesterday on NET?
It was a good practice run for Hellas, who got to stretch its' legs in an official game. As usual, things were slow to begin with, and the pace definitely picked up with Diamandidis entrance to the team (he came off the bench). Starting five were Sofo, V-Span, Perperoglou, Fotsis and Prindezis. Obviously Cyprus could never have been a threat, but it was a good start for the team to start working on certain things bit by bit.
Everyone seemed to be in good form, except maybe for Fotsis who seemed a little shaky, fumbling the ball, etc. It was also really refreshing to see that Tsartsaris is back on solid form again, not seeming to have any problems from his old injuries, he was also the top scorer for the team. On top of that, Prindezis was also showing to have matured into a much brainier player, he wasn't just like a bull let loose in a fine china shop, LOL! The two lads Papanikolaou and Pappas also had some good minutes and tried to please Kazlauskas to show that they deserved a spot on the team. Time will tell!
What do you guys think? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
