Omri Casspi is one of the hottest prospects in European basketball. And a Marcus Brown image giving himself to the game with full concentration is something that deserves appreciation.
I was @ CSKA game Wednesday night, although i was in the middle of a week full of finals. But that's not because I see a chance for Efes to win the game, I've just missed watching CSKA live. That was the first night in this season with a full roster under Messina's coaching. And they outplayed us, out of question. It was great to see Trajan "The Alaskan Assassin" Langdon in Istanbul again.
I don't want to say that, but Cenk Akyol will never be a part of high-level basketball, apparently. We've been waiting for long time, but he had no contribution to the defensive or offensive ends.
We have a heterogeneous roster, have no depth in front court and Kasun's inexistence is not the only reason. A must-win situation at Madrid next week, but even if we beat them, we can't see a good future for this team. A team whose starting point guard is Ender Arslan? And a coach, who lectures his first choice in the PG position in the beginning of the season, namely Milos Vujanic. We all know the guy hasn't characteristics of a team-first point guard, he's more like an undersized SG, but you criticize him harshly in front of an audience for a non-stop 3 minutes. Aren't you the one who should be criticized by the supporters for this choice, Ataman?
